  • Everest Base Camp Trek via Gokyo Lakes and Cho La Pass reviewer 1
    · October 21st, 2022
The service from Mount Adventure Holidays Pvt. Ltd. and particularly my guide Pasang was excellent. My permit tickets and booking of my accommodation were all taken care of while I was on the trek. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all included in the overall cost. Weather judgements were also important as we missed snow on the final hike to Everest Base Camp. Pasang had a friendly personality, was very informative and always keen to provide help whenever necessary. Overall the best guided tour I have ever been on.

We did the 17-day tour in February to Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lakes/Cho La Pass. Unfortunately due to the bad weather, we were only able to make it to Everest Base Camp. Our guide was very helpful, always making sure we had hot drinks and a comfortable stay in the tea houses, and also importantly made sure we were equipped with the right gear so that we could trek safely through the snow. When certain routes unexpectedly closed, our guide worked closely with us to re-plan our trek to ensure we made the most of the trip! Our porter was also super helpful and friendly. The tour company owner Pasang was also extremely helpful and flexible, and ensured we had a lift to the airport/ next destination of travel. The only suggestion for improvement I might add is that one particular tea house was not very clean and comfortable, however this is probably an exception as the majority of the tea houses we stayed at were good.
