The food was very good. Loved the kayaking, and we were able to see lots of monkeys! The cave was impressive, beautifully lit and lots of fun to explore. Hanoi is a vibrant, exciting city with lots of energy. Our hotel lobby was gorgeous, but the room, itself, was a disappointment. Our window was covered by a concrete wall, so there was no natural light, and it felt like you were in a cave when you were in the room. You can upgrade your hotel or cruise to 4-star or 5-star accommodation. Upgrade to 4-star cruises at 45USD per person based on double twin share. Upgrade to 5-star cruises at 90USD per person based on double/twin share (included upgrade cruise + upgrade transfer from normal sharing bus to sharing limousine Hanoi - Halong - Hanoi).
