The only difficulty we ran into was that only one of the excursions was offered in English, as the guide found out there were English speakers and she was happy to translate. It would have been more economical (and more enjoyable) had we just paid the entrance fee and got the headphones with English. It would be great to see a system out in place for some recordings or other devices to allow the English translations, as technology is simple now. Other than that, the trip was wonderful and exactly as described.Show more

CroisiEurope River CruisesOperator•Written July 2024You may have some time in the morning of Day 6 to attend Mass. You may have to skip the tour of Novi Sad though, depending on how early you want to go to Mass. The ship is supposed to dock into Novi Sad at 3AM the early morning of Day 6, the passengers get a tour of the city that morning starting around 9-10AM, return to the boat for lunch, and then depart for Bezdan at noon, reaching Bezdan at 1AM on Day 7.

Traveler•Written June 2023Our travel date would be late July but preferably August 2024. Anything during this time frame. The young adults and children are still in school so it has to be during the summer holiday.

Traveler•Written June 2023I don't see any in the link you sent that sails through Hungary only, like the Tisza to the Danube or visa versa. Are there any that focus solely on Hungary? It can even be less than 9 days, we are just looking for Hungary at this time.

We are aware that you are interested in cruises that explore Hungary only in July/August 2024. We had a look for you and were unable to find a cruise that go through Hungary only as usually cruises go through other destinations as well.
