Itinerary
- Day 1
Cruise Embarkation
You'll board the MS Gerard Schmitter between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. and get settled into your cabin. After you're unpacked and ready, head to meet the crew at a welcome cocktail. Dinner is served on board, and then you'll begin cruising through the night as the ship departs.

Rhine in Flames
The morning is spent sailing toward Boppard, where you arrive in the afternoon. Once docked, you'll take a guided discovery tour through the old town and see the local sights. Later in the evening, you'll have dinner on board while watching the Rhine in Flames spectacle as boats convoy from Boppard to Koblenz. The ship arrives in Koblenz overnight.

Romantic Rhine
Today you cruise along the Rhine between Koblenz and Rüdesheim. If you choose the optional excursion, you'll take a mini-train tour through the vineyards, do some wine tasting, and visit the Museum of Mechanical Musical Instruments. When evening comes, head into the lively Drosselgasse where you'll find live bands performing and cafes to relax in.

In the morning the ship cruises toward Mannheim. An optional excursion takes you to Heidelberg where you can explore the castle and see the town. Tonight is a gala dinner and evening celebration on board, followed by sailing to Strasbourg through the night.
