The old town is compact and easy to navigate, with narrow streets connecting historic plazas and the cathedral. Girona to Coast
This morning you'll cycle the Carrilet route, a converted railway line that heads from Girona toward the coast. The 40km ride follows the old train path, which means it's relatively flat and straightforward to follow. You'll pass through small towns and farmland along the way. Pack water and snacks since there aren't many services in the middle sections. After reaching the coast, you'll have time to settle into your accommodation and grab dinner by the water.
