Itinerary
- Day 1
Athens to Karystos
Your trip starts with an evening arrival at Athens International Airport. You'll meet your group at 6pm and take a bus to either Rafina or Marathon port for the ferry crossing to Evia. After a short taxi or minibus ride, you'll reach Karystos where the MV Isidoros II is waiting. The crew will greet you with a welcome drink, and then you can get settled into your cabin on this historic wooden caique.

Panagia
Have a hearty breakfast on deck, then the boat sets sail for the bay of Panagia, a small fishing village tucked into a fjord. You'll stop along the way to swim in the clear waters off the coastline. Once at Panagia, there's a chance to look for terrapin turtles in the streams behind the church of St Mary, or spend time swimming and snorkeling in the fjord. After lunch onboard, dinner happens at a seaside taverna with fresh seafood and local wine.

Porto Buffalo to Bay of Almiropotamos
The cruise heads to the Gulf of Evia where, according to Greek legend, Poseidon split the island from the mainland with his trident. You'll stop at Porto Buffalo, a fishing village port known for its fresh fish, where there's a private sandy beach to relax on. If you're up for it, jump off the boat's top deck into the turquoise waters. Later, sail back to Panagia and walk along the coast to a golden beach in the Bay of Almiropotamos.

Nea Styra to Marathon
After breakfast, head to Nea Styra where several beaches and clear waters are ready for swimming and snorkeling. In the afternoon, explore the rolling hills above town that lead to a silver-green valley filled with olive trees. As the sun gets lower in the sky, sail to the historic bay of Marathon where the promenade fills with locals and visitors enjoying traditional Mediterranean dining.

This morning takes a slower pace before you set sail toward Figias and then on to Marmari, a typical Aegean fishing village with tavernas and cafes along the promenade. There's plenty of time to swim and snorkel off the boat near the rocky shore areas.

Cruise to the Petali archipelago, seven private islands that once served as a summer residence for the Greek royal family. You'll drop anchor to swim, snorkel, relax on deck, and soak in the lifestyle around these exclusive islands. As the afternoon winds down, set sail back toward Karystos.

Karystos
Start by visiting the well-preserved Venetian mountain castle of Castello Rosso in Gourna, a fourth-crusade fortress that overlooks the sea corridor between Asia and Europe. Return to the boat and drop anchor at Bouros in Karystos bay for a final swim and snorkel in the clear waters. After docking, you'll say goodbye to the crew. For the evening, stay at a waterfront hotel in Karystos where you can visit the famous Montofoli winery estate or relax at nearby Kohyli Coves.

Karystos to Athens
Leave Karystos this morning with a short taxi or minibus ride to Marmari or Styra to catch the ferry back to mainland Greece. The ferry departs around 9:50am and arrives at Rafina. From there, transfer to Athens International Airport, getting there around 11:30am. Your earliest flight departure is 1:30pm.
