Itinerary
- Day 1
Munich to Passau
Board your river cruise ship in Munich by 5 pm (your flights need to arrive by 2 pm to make this work). Once you're on board, you'll have time to explore the ship and get settled into your cabin. Dinner happens on your first evening, and then you'll cruise overnight toward Passau.

Passau to Linz
In Passau, you can choose your activity for the day. Either hike up to Oberhaus for the views or take a guided walk through the city where the Danube, Inn, and Ilz Rivers converge. You'll have free time to wander the cobblestone streets and check out Artist's Alley on your own. Later, the ship heads to Linz, passing through the dramatic Schlögen Oxbow. There's live entertainment on board this evening.

If you prefer something closer, there's biking with a picnic along the Danube or hiking to Pöstlingberg through nature trails. Your evening ends with a food and wine pairing dinner hosted by your Master of Wine.

Ybbs to Dürnstein to Vienna
Choose between two main activities today. You can tour Artstetten Castle or see Melk's famous Benedictine Abbey with its frescoed ceilings and ornate pipe organ. After that, cruise through the Wachau Valley past vineyards and castles to reach Dürnstein. There you can hike up to castle ruins, take a guided walk, or explore a 900-year-old wine labyrinth. Live entertainment happens on board before you sail overnight to Vienna.
