Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu
Your representative meets you at Tribhuvan International Airport holding a placard with your name, then drives you to Hotel Thamel Kathmandu for check-in. The rest of your day is flexible, so you can walk around the neighborhood, do some shopping, or simply settle in at the hotel.

Kathmandu Sightseeing
After breakfast, your city guide will meet you at 9 AM to lead a full-day tour through Kathmandu's major sites. You'll stop at Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath stupa, Patan City, and Swayambhunath, also called the Monkey Temple. By 3 PM you're back at the hotel with the evening free for whatever you'd like to do.

Kathmandu to Chitwan
Early morning departure at 5:30 AM from your hotel lobby. After a quick breakfast provided by the hotel, you'll head to the bus stop and board a tourist bus heading to Chitwan National Park. The scenic 7-hour drive follows the Trishuli River through beautiful Nepali countryside. Once you arrive, you'll transfer to Park Land Hotel, get a program briefing from the manager, and catch a Tharu dance performance by local villagers in the evening.

Landmarks/POIs Chitwan National Park Trishuli River - Day 4
Chitwan National Park Jungle Safari
Today you'll explore Chitwan National Park with jeep safaris and elephant-back rides where you can see different wildlife and plant life throughout the park. On your way back, you'll watch elephants bathing in the river. Bird watching along the riverbank is also on the agenda, as the park is home to more than 250 bird species.

Landmarks/POIs Chitwan National Park - Day 5
Chitwan to Pokhara
You'll leave Chitwan and head to Pokhara, known as the Lake City. The drive takes about 7 hours from Mugling going west into the mountains while crossing several rivers. Along the way you'll pass through scenic areas, and when you arrive in Pokhara, you get views of the Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Manaslu, and Annapurna mountain ranges. After transferring to Splendid View Hotel, the rest of your day is yours to explore the city and surrounding areas.

Pokhara to Dhampus Village Trek
After breakfast, a private vehicle takes you to Phedi (about 1 hour away) and you start trekking at 8 AM. You'll hike uphill on mountain trails to Dhampus Village, which takes roughly 2 hours depending on your pace. The path climbs with elevation gain and changes in terrain, though on clear days you'll see views of Annapurna and Manaslu peaks. You'll stay at a basic tea house with outside toilet facilities.

Dhampus to Sarangkot Hill Trek
Early start after breakfast at 8 AM to trek toward Sarangkot Hill for sunrise views over the Himalayas. The trail goes through Naudanda hills and shows off Mt. Fishtail, Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri. This 7-hour trek (including rest breaks) is easy to moderate terrain through Nepal's middle hills near Pokhara. You'll overnight at a basic guest house or lodge run by a local Nepalese family.

Sarangkot to Pokhara Sightseeing
After breakfast at 8 AM, you'll hike down from Sarangkot back to Pokhara city in about 3 hours. Once there, you'll check out the main attractions including Gupteswar Mahadev Cave, Seti River Gorge, Devi's Fall, and the mountain museum until around 3 PM. The rest of your afternoon and evening are free.

Pokhara to Kathmandu
After breakfast, you drive back to Kathmandu, roughly 200 kilometers away over about 7 hours depending on traffic conditions. The drive offers nice views along the way. Upon arrival, you'll transfer to your hotel and have the afternoon to relax, shop, or wander around. At 5 PM, meet in the hotel lobby for a farewell dinner featuring traditional dance performed by Trekking Guide Team Adventure staff.
