Itinerary
- Day 1
Strobl
You'll arrive at the Bergrose Hideaway in Strobl and have time to settle in. The rest of the day is yours to do as you like. Walk around the village to get a feel for the place, or head straight to the hotel's pool and spa area to relax after traveling.
- Day 2
Strobl to Bad Ischl to Strobl
A bus takes you to Bad Ischl where you'll get your biking briefing and collect your bike. Spend the day checking out the spa town, including Franz Josef's Kaiservilla and the imperial hot spa with its salt baths, steam room, hammam and Alhambra baths. Later you'll cycle back along the River Ischl to return to Strobl.

Strobl to St Gilgen
You'll bike along Lake Wolfgang's southern shore through a nature reserve to St Gilgen, a waterfront village with restaurants and frescoed houses. There you can visit Mozart's museum or take the cable car up Zwolferhorn for views of the Alpine landscape. If you'd rather do something different, water skiing on the lake followed by a swim from the hotel's bathing jetty is an option.

Strobl to St Wolfgang
Your route follows the river then heads up the north shore of Lake Wolfgang to St Wolfgang, a 15th-century village with cobbled streets and frescoed houses. You can explore the historic church and browse craft and chocolate shops. After lunch, the antique cog railway takes you up Schafberg mountain to 1782m where you'll see views across the Alpine region.

Strobl to Salzburg
An 80-minute bus ride brings you to Salzburg, Mozart's birthplace and a UNESCO-recognized Baroque city set among the Alps and the Salzach river. You'll spend the day walking through the historic center with its Baroque palaces, Renaissance gardens, Viennese cafes and Europe's oldest open-air theatre.

Landmarks Salzburg - Day 6
Strobl to Lake Nussen
You'll cycle through quiet country lanes and rural farming hamlets bordered by low Alpine meadows. Lunch happens at the popular Zur Wacht restaurant. After that you'll head up to Lake Nussen, a lesser-known spot where rare orchids grow around its shady shores. You can swim and relax before cycling back to Strobl on a circular route.

Strobl to Lake Schwarzen
Choose between walking or cycling routes across the valley and up through forest to Lake Schwarzen, which sits beneath the Vormauerstein, Hoheneck and Breitenberg peaks. You'll have lunch at a mountain-view restaurant with snow-capped peaks visible in the distance. Then it's a pleasant descent back down the valley to Strobl.
