- ABAnkur· June 26th, 2019Overall I would rate as Good. Itinerary was very good but since I was the only one booked with Euro Adventures, I had to roam around Cannes and Antibes alone. Although, EuroAdventures refunded one way expenses as I had booked train tickets myself. Since I was travelling alone, I was hoping for fellow travelers to accompany me. I was then asked to go on Monaco and Nice tours along with Riviera tours and Guide from them was great. Both the walking tours were good. Transportation for Monaco was by train. Accomodation was not good at all. At first I was shown the room with 4 beds as it was hostel but when I came back I was told to adjust in room with 6 beds and they promised me that my room would be changed the next day. But the next day they told me that its not possible and since it was busy season they could not give me private room. In the day to day itinerary it lists what is included. Thursday - nothing planned (in order to accommodate arrivals at all times). Check in to hostel or hotel (depending which package you select). Friday - morning guided walking tour of Nice's old town. Afternoon 1 hour scenic boat cruise along the coast to Villefranch sur Mer and Cap Ferrat. Free evening. Saturday - morning departure to Monaco-Monte Carlo for guided tour. Free time from afternoon to stay in the city, go to the beach, etc. Round trip train included. Free evening. Sunday - end of trip, check out of accommodations. Regarding accommodations, we use several different properties in the heart of Nice (the package is 3 nights). It just depends on the weekend and availability. All properties are high quality, modern and centrally located and walkable to all sights, the beach, nightlife, etc.

Regarding your request for a private single room, it would be possible to upgrade. The upgrade would be a great 3-star hotel in the city center with private bathroom/shower, air conditioning. The price would be €90 per night so €270 for the supplement. It is very high season still at the beginning of September so there aren't many rooms left so please be advised of that if you want to book. If you want to book, please book the basic shared dorm hostel package and then post-booking we would send you the supplement link.

We typically use hotel Ibis Nice Centre Note Dame (3-stars) right near the Note Dame cathedral. It's a nice comfortable, modern hotel right in the heart of the city with easy access to the beach, old town and train station and with lots of shops & restaurants near by.

Looking at the train options and flights, currently flying would be the best option and chepaest. There are flights on the 17th of April with Easyjet starting at €43(if you can depart at 7am) and then also two later options for €64 and €69 for flights at 13:50 and 18:50 respectively. Those flights are from the Paris Charles de Gaulle airport and direct to the Nice airport. You can book one of those flights directly on Easyjet for the best price. Then you can book the weekend for the French Riviera here for the private double/twin room option. It is the Easter holiday weekend so it's a busy one so we'd recommend not waiting too long as flights will increase in price and same goes for the weekend trip (and availability is limited).

Yes there is a single room option available. The supplement for the single private hotel room would be. The supplement for this, over the standard hostel dorm package, would be €180 (so €60 per night supplement to upgrade from shared hostel dorm to private room with bathroom).
