Nice
You'll arrive on your own and check in from 3pm onward. After getting settled into your accommodation, the rest of the day is yours to explore the city however you'd like. The organized activities kick off Friday morning, so this gives you a chance to get your bearings and maybe grab dinner somewhere nearby.

Nice to Monaco to Nice
Around 10am you'll head out on a guided walking tour to Monaco, this glamorous seaside principality just along the coast. The tour covers the royal palace, the national cathedral where Princess Grace is entombed, the yacht-filled port, and the famous Casino de Monte Carlo. You'll return mid-afternoon, leaving the rest of your day open. That gives you time to wander through Nice's old town or check out some optional nightlife if you're interested.

Departing around 10:30am, you'll take a guided walking tour through Nice's old town starting at Place Massena. You'll walk the pastel-colored streets, see the Opera House, Palais de Justice, Place Rossetti, Castle Hill, and the flower market at Cours Saleya. After roughly 2 hours, you'll have free time for lunch. Then you'll board a 1-hour scenic coastal cruise to Villefranche sur Mer and Cap Ferrat before heading back to Nice. The afternoon is open for exploring the city, the beach, or other Riviera towns nearby.

This is your free day to depart at your own pace. If your departure is later, you can leave your bags with the reception desk and spend time in Nice's old town, catch the Sunday flower market, or head to the beach. It's a good opportunity to check out any nearby Riviera seaside towns you might have missed earlier in the trip.
