I was a little disappointed that the cost of the tour didn’t really include anything beyond transportation and lodging, though I did know that going in. All activities are extra, which definitely drives the cost of the trip higher. Unfortunately, there is no way for us to customize the tour. If you wanted to stay in Montezuma longer, you would need to sign off the tour and make your own arrangements back to San Jose. You would not be reimbursed for the unused services.

Our 18-to-30 Somethings tours are designed for travellers aged 18-39 years old wishing to form interpersonal connections with travellers around their age. Travellers must be 39 years old or younger (but at least 18 years old) as of Day 1 of the departure date of the tour.

For the tour you are limited to one main luggage and one day pack, you could potentially take 2 backpacks as long they are not too big. You could potentially leave a bag at the start hotel since it would be the same hotel you will end at. There may be a fee for that but you can ask the hotel staff.
