Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Athens

    You'll arrive in Athens and get transferred from the airport to your hotel. After settling in, the rest of the day is yours to relax or start getting a feel for the city on your own terms.

  2. Day 2

    Athens

    Start with a panoramic tour covering the Panathenaic Stadium and Temple of Olympian Zeus. Then you'll have a guided visit to the Acropolis to see the Parthenon, Propylaia, Temple of Athena Nike, and Erechtheion. The Acropolis Museum comes next, and by afternoon you'll have free time to wander around the old Plaka neighbourhood and do some shopping along Ermou street.

  3. Day 3

    Athens to Olympia

    After breakfast, you're heading to the Peloponnese and stopping at the Corinth Canal. Next up is Epidaurus to see the ancient theater, then Mycenae where you'll walk through the Cyclopean walls, Lion's Gate, and Agamemnon's beehive tomb. A quick coastal stop in Nafplion follows, and from there you'll travel through mountain roads to reach Olympia for dinner.

    Olympia to Delphi

    You'll tour Olympia's ancient sanctuary, checking out the Temple of Zeus, Palaestra, and Phidias's workshop. The local museum has the famous Hermes of Praxiteles on display. In the afternoon, you'll cross the Rio-Antirio bridge and head toward Delphi, arriving in time for dinner.

    Delphi to Kalambaka

    Walk the Sacred Way through Delphi's sanctuary and explore the Temple of Apollo. You'll visit the local museum to see the bronze Charioteer statue and the omphalos stone. Later, you'll travel across central Greece's mountains to Kalambaka for your overnight stay.

  6. Day 6

    Kalambaka to Athens

    This morning you'll see Meteora's towering rock formations and the sacred Eastern Orthodox monasteries of this World Heritage site. In the afternoon, you're heading back to Athens but stopping briefly at Thermopylae to learn about King Leonidas and the 300 Spartans' stand against the Persians.

    Athens to Saronic Islands

    You'll head to the port for a day cruise around the Saronic Gulf islands. The itinerary includes Hydra where you can wander its cobblestone streets and see the Mitropolis, then Poros with its clock tower and views of the Peloponnese, and Aegina for famous local pistachios. A buffet lunch happens on board, and on the way back you'll participate in traditional Greek dances.

    Mykonos

    You have the full day to yourself on Mykonos. Options include swimming at beautiful beaches or trying water activities, walking through the charming narrow streets of Mykonos Town with its iconic windmills, checking out the Archaeological Museum, relaxing at beachfront cafes, or visiting the historic Church of Paraportiani. When evening hits, the island's nightlife with its clubs and bars comes alive.

    Santorini

    You'll spend the day exploring Santorini however you'd like. The towns of Fira and Oia have great views of the volcano, you can relax on the unique black-sanded beaches, or consider taking a boat tour to the caldera islands. As evening approaches, you can catch one of the best sunsets in the Aegean with those famous orange and pink colors.

      There is no all inclusive for alcohol on these cruises unfortunately, usually you can buy on board and then you can pay for it upon check out.

      The ship you will sail on is the Celestyal Majesty Cruise Boat, it is a tastefully decorated, elegant cruise ship offering a variety of comfortable ensuite cabin choices for a memorable time on board. With a host of activity options, from a gym and swimming pool for the more active to arts and craft, dance and language lessons, there's something for everyone whilst cruising the crystal waters of the Aegean. The Celestyal Majesty can hold up to 1,460 passengers and is supported by over 600 crew. With a number of bars and restaurants guests have ample eating and drinking options. The price includes an inside cabin but upgrades may be available for a surcharge.
