    Ship Embarkation

    You'll board the ship at 6:00 p.m. and join the crew for a welcome cocktail to kick things off. After that, the evening is yours to settle in and get comfortable with the ship before things get going.

  2. Day 2

    Seville

    This is a choice day. The CLASSIC option takes you to Córdoba by coach (about 2 hours each way) for a guided tour of the Mosque-Cathedral and lunch at a local restaurant. The FAMILY package heads to Isla Mágica theme park instead, with shows, games, and rides. By evening, you're free to check out Seville on your own.

  3. Day 3

    Seville to Cádiz

    Morning brings another choice. CLASSIC passengers get a guided tour of Seville including the Alcázar, while FAMILY package visitors head to the city aquarium. In the afternoon, the ship sails toward Cádiz and passes through the Doñana National Park (a UNESCO biosphere reserve). Later that evening, you'll explore Cádiz with the tour team.

  4. Day 4

    Cádiz

    Everyone goes to Jerez in the morning for a city tour and visit to the Alcázar, a 9th-century fortified palace with Arab baths and gardens, plus the Cathedral where you can climb the tower for views. The CLASSIC package includes an afternoon walking tour through Cádiz's historic white-walled streets and medieval quarters. Later, there's a flamenco show before the ship moves to El Puerto de Santa María.

    El Puerto de Santa María to Isla Mínima

    The CLASSIC package takes you on a walking tour of Osborne Bodega in the morning with wine tasting of three regional wines and local products. After that, the ship cruises to Isla Mínima. The evening features a visit to a typical Andalusian hacienda (a historic bull-raising ranch with Carthusian horses), then you'll head back to the ship for an overnight cruise returning to Seville.

    Seville

    Both CLASSIC and FAMILY packages start with a guided tour of Seville's Cathedral (one of the world's largest Gothic cathedrals) and the Giralda tower for panoramic views, followed by the Palace of the Countess of Lebrija with its Neo-Mudéjar, Gothic, and Baroque interiors and art collection. There's also an optional all-day excursion to Granada (about 3 hours round-trip) visiting the Alhambra and Palacio de Generalife if you want more. You have a free evening to explore Seville however you like.

  7. Day 7

    Seville

    The morning is unscheduled, so you can wander through Maria Luisa Park or the historic center at your own pace. In the afternoon, there's a guided excursion to La Rábida Friary (a 14th-15th century Franciscan monastery where Columbus prepared for his voyage) and the Wharf of the Caravels with life-size replicas of the Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria. By evening, you'll return for the festive gala dinner.

    This is not the best of rivers for cruising. High water meant we only left the dock one day. We were also docked at a working dock and it was impossible to get out without a taxi or a 2 k walk just to get even with boat again.

    The Guadalquivir is not navigable beyond Seville. So he cruise lasts only 4 days. The boat remains moored at the port of Seville for 4 days, without moving. It takes 3 hours by bus to visit Cordoba and its mosque, and also 6h round trip by bus to visit Granada and the Alhambra !!
