What people love about Turkey Tours for Couples
- Sacred Pathways: Tracing the Legacy of the Seven Churches 10 Day Tour
Tour guide is very knowledgeable and able to explain clearly the history and helpful information. The whole tour in overall was enjoyable and eye opening to be able to see Türkiye in a short time.
- Turkey Beauty Tour
Fantastic tour!!! Beautiful sights!!
- 10 Days Wonders of Turkey
The destinations were all interesting, ground and air transportation itself were good but the organization could be a lot better, the guides and hotel rooms and hotels were hit or miss. For example, on our second day in Instanbul the day we fly out for Izmir, the guide was two hours late for a 9am meeting time. He was super frazzled and he lost half of the group once. The first time he was about to lose the crowd, I yelled for him to stop. We then had to rush to the airport in a panic and traffic was like nothing any of us had seen before. For our flight to Antalya, we were dropped off 4 hours early at the Izmir airport. We arrived at the hotel well past midnight and skipping the tour to sleep in and enjoy Antalya on my own was the best decision I made to reset for Cappodocia as the Hot Air Balloon Ride pick up was at 4:45am. Yesra in Kusadasi was an incredible guide and the first guide in Istanbul for the Mosque tour was also good. I skipped Antalya so I can't comment on him. Book your own Hot Air Balloon Ride early as they all offer a full refund if the ride is cancelled due to weather conditions. The tour operator tells you he can't book until the finish line for weather reasons but it's all to try to sell you on inflated pricing. He lied to us and told us the group we had already met didn't fly on a given day when we have pictures from them flying with a Balloon Company they found on their own. Balloon Companies in Cappadocia are everywhere and they all offer hotel pick up.
What our customers ask about Romantic Turkey Trips & Honeymoon Packages
What's the ideal time to visit Turkey for couples?
Spring (April-May) and fall (September-October) are perfect for visiting Turkey. The weather is just right - around 68-77°F (20-25°C) - not too hot for exploring but warm enough for outdoor activities. You'll avoid the summer crowds, plus get better deals on hotels. September is especially nice along the coast in places like Kusadasi and Fethiye. If you want to take a hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia, the clear spring mornings are ideal. As one TourRadar traveler said: "We visited in September and found it perfect - warm enough for swimming but cool enough for sightseeing in places like Ephesus."
Where do couples stay on Turkish tours?
You'll find a great mix of romantic places to stay in Turkey. In Cappadocia, you can sleep in unique cave hotels like the Gamirasu Hotel. Along the coast, there are lovely boutique places like the Marina Boutique Hotel in Fethiye. If you're in Istanbul, you might stay at a nice 4-star hotel like the Yasmak Sultan Hotel, where you can see the Bosphorus from your window. If you take a boat trip, you'll get a private cabin with your own bathroom. One TourRadar traveler mentioned: "The boutique hotels selected for our tour were perfect for couples - intimate, characterful, and often in stunning locations."
How long should couples spend touring Turkey?
About 10-12 days is just right for couples visiting Turkey. This gives you enough time to see the main attractions like Istanbul and Cappadocia, plus some downtime to relax. Most people go for tours like the "Turkey Unplugged" (10 days) or "Best of Turkey" (11 days), which include stays at nice places like the Ilayda Avantgarde Hotel. A TourRadar traveler said: "Our 10-day tour was perfect - enough time to see everything without feeling rushed, plus romantic downtime together."
Which places in Turkey are best for couples?
Cappadocia is incredibly romantic with its unique landscape and cozy cave hotels. The Turkish coast around Fethiye and Kusadasi is perfect for beach lovers. Istanbul's old town, especially the Sultanahmet area, has a really special atmosphere. Don't miss Pamukkale's natural hot springs - they're like nothing else you've seen. The small village of Sirince is great for wine tasting at intimate hotels. A TourRadar traveler shared: "Cappadocia was definitely the highlight for us as a couple - the cave hotels and balloon rides created unforgettable romantic memories."
What kind of romantic dining can couples find in Turkey?
You'll find lots of special dining spots in Turkey. In Istanbul, you can eat on rooftop restaurants with views of the Bosphorus. Sirince village has intimate wine tastings, and if you're on a boat trip, you can have dinner under the stars. Places like the Kasr-ı Hayat Boutique Hotel in Sanliurfa offer really atmospheric courtyard dining. A TourRadar traveler remembered: "The private dinner arrangements on our gulet cruise were incredibly romantic, with fresh seafood served under the stars."
What are Turkey's most romantic activities for couples?
Turkey has so many special experiences for couples. You can watch the sun set over the ancient ruins in Ephesus, take a hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia's unique rock formations, enjoy dinner while cruising on the Bosphorus in Istanbul, or relax together in Pamukkale's warm thermal pools. The cave hotels in Cappadocia are really special - one TourRadar couple said: "The Cave hotel was magnificent, good for photos and a unique romantic experience." Couples also love staying at the Ilayda Avantgarde Hotel in Kusadasi, which is perfect for evening walks by the sea.
