What people love about Nepal Tours for Seniors
- Tale of Three Cities (Kathmandu & Nagarkot Tour)
Without doubt one of the favourite countries in the world Nepal Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by Navaraj my name was mentioned on the board and i felt welcomed and with such a friendly atmosphere i had a fantastic start! The guide and tour was extremely good, very flexible (appreciate this!) and for that he deserves a special thanks. I had four great days there, which obviously also added up to the experience. Navaraj is such a warm personality and highly motivated guide (recommendable!). I truly enjoyed walking the tour with him. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The nature of the tour was fantastic Kathmandu t I saw a lot of new things in that trip and experienced a lot especially the temples and the view of the Everest and Hamilya mountains The atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me i respect Navaraj who does a great job there; a true sample of excellent tour guide! Many thanks again and I recommend this trip to everyone
- Everest Base Camp Trek
The trip was amazing. The experienced sherpers and porter were exceptional. Safety first, checked on well being, eating, sleep patterns etc to ensure altitude sickness tracking. Kept group well, paced. Experienced amazing culture. The team welcomed the group . Negative- due to bad weather at Lukla, the Exodus, administration team should have triggered the process to support our tour guide in getting to the lower helipad sooner. It isn’t the sharper team to facilitate the admin to support the tours return back home. The admin process within exodus doesn’t seem to exist with no plan B when things do not go to plan. Whilst the weather is notorious bad out of Lukla, plan b should have been triggered by exodus admin to avoid the guides from the trip the unnecessary additional work . The sherpers were amazing and shouldn’t have to support the unnecessary admin.
- Best of Nepal Tour
A brilliant trip with a brilliant company We booked the Nepal View Tour with Outfitter Nepal. This was a varied package of sightseeing in Kathmandu, trekking and wildlife in Chitwan NP. From the outset, our enquiries were dealt with quickly and efficiently by Arjun, who arranged the holiday for us, including a number of extras. We were met at the airport and from then onwards, the holiday and all its arrangements ran very smoothly. All the accommodation was of a good standard and the transport, whether by private car, taxi or bus, went well. Our contact "on the ground" was Raj, who was available for support throughout and who readily changed our last day so that we could visit a temple that we'd missed earlier. The undoubted highlight was our trek to Ghorepani and Poon Hill. Although this might be deemed easy by Nepalese standards, we found the walking to be satisfying and sometimes challenging. The countryside is extremely beautiful and varied, with farmland, villages and views of the mountains, particularly the walk up to Poon Hill to see the sunrise on a clear morning Special mention goes to our companions, guide Sanjay and porter Rajan. They looked after us well and were excellent throughout, we can't thank them enough. They are both true gentlemen and a credit to the company. For anyone thinking about visiting Nepal after the earthquake, you definitely should. There has been some damage, but all the tourist sites are up and running and there is plenty to see. It's a beautiful place and the people are lovely. We had a brilliant holiday in Nepal. Many thanks to Outfitter Nepal who are an excellent, professional company with great staff. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
