I did my first Insight Vacation in Egypt and wasn't sure what to expect. They are top shelf! Every whim of some rather demanding people in our group was met with a smile and no problem. The knowledge of Akron our guide who said we should not focus on him but he really was amazing! The people of Egypt are warm and the country overwhelmingly exotic with thousands of years or preserve history. Put this on your bucket list. You won't regret it and the Insight teamwill take are of every little detail, and yes we were quite safe. always. Our guide Akron was simply incredible!

A truly amazing, once in a life time, experience. The itinerary included all the major archeological sites in Egypt, covering history going back to the first pyramid built more than 4700 years ago. Our tour guide kept us busy, and was extremely knowledgeable and patient with our group. We had “free time” at all of the major sites we visited. We always felt very safe our entire time in Egypt. My advice to others considering this trip is that there is not so much walking, but sometimes a lot of uneven steps. Some of the less mobile people accompanying us opted to view some sites from the bus. The other thing to keep in mind is the ship for the Nile river cruise was pretty old and could have been a little cleaner. We heard mixed reviews from others on some of the optional experiences. We traveled to Abu Simbel and greatly enjoyed it. In summary, an amazing vacation!
