Hi Emily. Thank you for your review. From what I can see, your experience at camp, with the guide and meals were really great. It is sad that our overall review is then rated on the weather conditions, which is something completely outside of our control. Botswana is known for being hot during the day, and sometimes cold at night (especially in winter time when you visited), so I do feel this was somewhat to be expected. We are, however, very glad that you had a great experience otherwise.

Thank you for your insightful review. Please note that the Okavango Delta is still recovering from a bad drought, thus driving times to the water sources does take a bit longer. We are, however, very excited that the water is back in the Boteti River right at camp - meaning the wild animals will be coming back right in front of the base camp itself, with mokoro rides in the river within walking distance from the tented accommodation. In addition, we have opened a tented camp at Moremi Game Reserve to rather do an overnight there instead of driving to/from the main camp in one day.- JG

Please note that our packages are not promoted as group tours (with a set departure date and the same people being on the trip from start to end). Our packages can start on any day (which makes it flexible to join), and our activities are shared with the guests who are also on tour during those days you are at camp. Hence it might not always be the same people or the same amount of people. I therefore feel your review is slightly misplaced. I do however hope that your time on safari was enjoyable! Sarah

Please note that the Okavango Delta is still recovering from a bad drought, thus driving times to the water sources does take a bit longer. We also note your comment about the road conditions - we make use of public roads so have no control about the condition. What we CAN do is to travel on it safely, and at safe speeds, even if it takes a bit longer. We are, however, very excited that the water is back in the Boteti River right at camp - meaning the wild animals will be coming back right in front of the base camp itself, with mokoro rides in the river within walking distance from the tented accommodation. In addition, we have opened a tented camp at Moremi Game Reserve to rather do an overnight there instead of driving to/from the main camp in one day. - LN
