Itinerary
- Day 1
Johannesburg to Hazyview
You'll leave Johannesburg OR Tambo early in the morning and drive east through farmland toward your lodge near Kruger. The route takes you through some nice rural countryside, so there's plenty to see along the way. Once you arrive and get settled in, you'll have time to freshen up before heading out for an afternoon game drive in Kruger National Park. After spotting wildlife and getting your first real sense of the park, you'll return to the lodge for dinner.

- Day 2
Kruger National Park (Skukuza area)
This is a full game viewing day, so you're starting early with coffee, tea, and rusks at 5:15AM before departing for the Skukuza area. You'll travel in open-sided land cruisers, which gives you great views and photo opportunities. A packed breakfast comes along on the morning drive, then you'll continue viewing wildlife throughout the morning. By early afternoon you're back at the lodge. If you want, there's an optional sunset game drive available for an extra cost. Dinner happens at the boma area or restaurant depending on the day's schedule.

- Day 3
Hazyview to Johannesburg
Your last morning gives you choices. You can either stay at the lodge, use the facilities, and have a cooked breakfast, or join an optional morning game drive that includes a picnic-style breakfast in the park. Around 11:00AM a vehicle picks you up from the lodge reception for the drive back to Johannesburg. You'll switch vehicles in Nelspruit, then catch a final shuttle at 1:00PM. This gets you to OR Tambo Airport by approximately 5:30PM.
