- Days 1-2
Northern Spain to Southwest France
Begin in Madrid and travel north to San Sebastián. Walk along La Concha beach and check out the wine bars in the old quarter. Drive 4 hours to Bordeaux for an evening arrival. Your second day is for exploring Bordeaux's UNESCO city center and the famous Water Mirror. Visit Cité du Vin for wine history before heading to Lourdes in the afternoon.

Mediterranean France
Visit Carcassonne's medieval walls early to avoid crowds. In Marseille, eat dinner at the Vieux-Port. The seafood restaurants on Quai des Belges serve the day's fresh catch. Next day, see Provence's Roman amphitheater in Arles and watch the light show at Carrières de Lumières in Les Baux. Finish in Lyon and take the funicular to Notre-Dame de Fourvière for city views.

- Days 5-6

Explore Burgundy's wine country, including Beaune and Dijon. A recent visitor shared: "Don't miss the wine tasting at Savigny Castle - the vintage Burgundies were exceptional and the castle's unique museums were a surprise highlight." Move on to Alsace to see Colmar's colorful old town and the picturesque village of Riquewihr. You'll notice German influences in the buildings and local language.

10 Day Western Europe Itinerary, incl. Madrid and London
A grand tour from Madrid's Plaza Mayor to Paris's Eiffel Tower spans 10 days. The route includes Barcelona's Maremagnum, Zaragoza's Cathedral-Basilica, and Versailles. High-speed train connects Barcelona to Paris in 6 hours.

- Days 1-2
Madrid
Your first evening belongs in Madrid's La Latina neighborhood for tapas hopping. "The intimate tapas bars around Plaza Mayor come alive after 8 PM—definitely wait until then to get the true local experience." On day two explore Madrid's cultural spots. Visit Retiro Park in the early morning to beat the summer heat and schedule your Santiago Bernabéu Stadium tour in late afternoon when it's less crowded.

- Days 3-4
Barcelona
The 4-hour drive from Madrid to Barcelona offers a great stop at Poblet Monastery. Stop for lunch in Zaragoza and check out its beautiful cathedral. Stay in Barcelona's Eixample district to be close to Gaudí's works. A recent visitor shares: "Skip the long lines at Sagrada Familia by booking the first entry at 9 AM—the morning light through the stained glass is incredible."

- Days 5-7
Paris
Take the high-speed train from Barcelona to Paris. It's about 6 hours and the upper deck has the best views. Start with an evening in Montmartre and watch the sunset from Sacré-Cœur. Spend your next day at Versailles before the tour buses arrive. Use your third day to explore central Paris. The Eiffel Tower has shorter lines in the morning. Take a Seine river cruise as the city lights begin to twinkle at dusk.

- Days 8-10
London via Rouen & Canterbury
Drive through Normandy and stop in Rouen. The cathedral looks stunning in the afternoon light. Take the Channel ferry and stop in Canterbury on your way to London. A hotel near Tower Bridge puts you close to main attractions. What people love about 10-day France and Spain tours
- A Virtuous Line (11 destinations)
This trip was an intense ride. It was a great overview that allowed us to see a little bit of a lot of places, so we know where we want to concentrate our next trip. The Europamundo tour guides were great, and brought an extra flavor to the trip. There were often different groups of people on the tour for different days, and this could be a little distracting. Even though we paid for an English-speaking tour, there were many times where we were combined with a Spanish-speaking tour. This took up a lot of our already tight timetable, because everything had to be explained twice. I was a little disappointed that most of the optional excursions were cancelled, and some of the planned events didn't happen either. I paid for all the optional excursions up-front like Europamundo suggested, and I did not get refunded for all the excursions I paid for that didn't happen.
- Highlights of France and Barcelona (End Barcelona)
Great tour with amazing sights - cathedrals and castles. Excellent Guide Pascal and Excellent Driver Luis.
- London to Barcelona Quest (Standard, Winter ( Until Mar '27), Start London, Classic)
Guide was amazing, so knowledgable and experienced. Also very caring...we had a food posioning incident and Grant was exceptionally caring, and made sure we were looked after! He knew the best places to eat and explore!
