What people love about Switzerland Tours in February
- Swiss Miracle
Fantastic adventure in the most beautiful places in Switzerland. Zurich during August was around 33 degrees Celsius (105F) and humid, so was not too pleasant considering that there is no a/c anywhere, not in restaurants, not in hotels (lucky us, Zuri had a/c), so it was hard to enjoy Zurich. Once we went to the mountains, (and September came), the weather was perfect. True a fairy tale, gorgeous landscape and views. The included tour to the cheese factory and chocolate factory were great. Our tour guide and driver, Vitalii, was very knowledgeable of the history of each site we visited. He cared about us and ensured our comfort everywhere. I love the very small group size, it was intimate, and we all got along. Be prepared that everything in Switzerland is very expensive!
- Stunning Switzerland
Very accommodating tour guide (Vitalii). He was a great source of information about all things Switzerland during the tour. Vitalii also sent me info about 'Crash Landing on You' famous filming sites and where to find them in my free time. The main program was well constructed, and allowed my mum and I to experience a great deal of Switzerland in just a few days. Nearly every landscape we visited was picturesque. The tour was very good value for money. I would recommend this tour. Oh and the bus driver (Jean-Marc) was extremely good - we always felt safe traveling with him. Met some very nice people on the tour too. We did the tour in mid-June where we had 35 degree Celsius days (95 degrees Fahrenheit) and almost as warm nights. Would recommend to avoid doing the tour in peak summer-heat because Swiss Hotels do not really air-condition their rooms which makes it very hard to sleep. The tour operator cannot control this so it isn't a negative against them, just a word of warning for future tourists to be mindful it can be very hot and humid at night in peak summer in Switzerland.
