Reviews of Sri Lanka Family Tours
- Sri Lanka Family Holiday
Sri Lanka Family Tour with Intrepid Travel... Was excellent value overall!! We enjoyed the itinerary and the flow of the tour. The hotels were ok.. nothing spectacular but clean and nice. We loved the camping site!! Nice things to see.. though in Mirissa I would skip the whale tour and do some surf lessons instead!!! Food was good on the tour though you eat in alot of hotels.. not many chances to eat at local joints off the tour. Transportation was nice and activities were well planned out with enough down time in between to catch up. Mahendra our guide was amazing!! super knowledgeable and fun to be around!! highlights were Lions Rock, the train ride, the walk thru the tea plantation and kite flying in Mirissa!!

I want to say many thanks to mango vacations and personally to our driver/guide Salitha for organizing the trip across Sri Lanka. We (I and my wife) have a four days trip starting from Weligama and ending at Negombo (visiting Udawalawe national park, Ella, Nuwara Eliya, Kandy, Sigiriya and Dambulla) in March 2019. There are several things I want to point out: 1) pre-trip organisation: it was really comfortable to communicate with guys, plan for our trip was agreed quickly. They gave us some useful advices (use the railroad from Ella to Nany Oya rather than from Nany Oya to Kandy) and such advices made our trip more memorable for us. 2) car (Toyota Axio): the car was very convenient and clean, with air condition. 3) our driver/guide Salitha: he was more than a driver and more than a guide, he became a good friend for us. He show us some interesting places that was not agreed at the planning stage (many thanks for the beautiful Bomburuella waterfall). He told us many interesting facts about places we have visited, about the life in Sri Lanka, its history and religion. It was very easy to travel because everywhere Salitha was with us and show us the best direction. I totally recommend you to travel with Salitha and mango vacations. It is the best way to explore Sri Lanka and its sightseeings.

The trip was absolutely amazing. Even though SriLanka has been facing a crisis during this time, we were securely taken care by our tour guide Mr Nalin ! His presence of mind and service was top notch. Despite of fuel shortages we had no issues with fuel whatsoever! Nalin was able to provide alternative options, which kept me from worrying about what there was for me to do for the rest of my time in Sri Lanka. We had engaging conversations in the car as we drove from one destination to the next. Without Nalin my experience in Sri Lanka would not have been so calm and worry-free. The reviews on this company really speak for itself. Don't hesitate to book with Capital Lanka Tours. They are professional and accommodating. FIVE STARS!!!
