What people love about Private Tours in India
- 5-Day Private Luxury Golden Triangle Tour to Agra and Jaipur From New Delhi
Our driver and hotels were very good. The guides were good too. Our guide Pradeep in Agra was excellent. Would have liked to have gone to cheaper markets instead of always been taken to the more expensive shops. We all like a bargain! In fact, some were far more expensive than in Australia.
- Essence of India with Varanasi, private car & flight included
The trip was PHENOMENAL!Everything was well organized, and the itinerary was very detailed and allowed us to experience many different sites and attractions. The timing of the tour departure and relaxation time was perfect for us. All the tour guides were kind and accommodating. Thereafter every email was answered absolutely promptly and every promise fulfilled. The team at this travel company, especially our tour designer, were truly wonderful. Thanks for the wonderful trip.
- The best of India, 14 day private tour
Overall the tour was good. We saw a huge amount in a short period of time. The driver was knowledgeable about great things to see, and took us to a number of interesting places not on our list. He did not accompany us anywhere, always waited with the car. However, the brochure makes the tour sound better than it is. "Many attractions included in the price" is a flat out lie. There are no entry fees included, and since India has foreigner price, these mount up quickly. The 2 guides provided as per the brochure were mostly difficult to understand, and did not add much value for us. We got 2 others, so we assume the driver lined up them up, and were working for tips only. They were better. Accommodation was of a mostly consistent standard and the AC worked well everywhere. There were a couple of heritage hotels that were very lovely. There is a lot of hours in the car, and we felt it was too rushed at times. A couple of extra nights would have improved things a lot. We would have replaced the nights at Ranthambore & the Kuri Desert with extra nights elsewhere. There was an included boat trip on the lake in Udaipur, but it was a pointless, 3 minute circle in a speedboat. We would have much preferred one of the slower boats. The "tiger safari" at Ranthambore was nothing short of appalling, a total waste of time and money. Unfortunately, it stormed while we were in the park, so 40 minutes of our 90 minute "safari" was spent parked outside the toilets, in the pouring rain, in an open top vehicle, while the driver and assistant sheltered inside a building until the rain had stopped. When they finally returned, we drove somewhere else and parked. When I asked what we were doing, they said "waiting for someone to find a tiger". We also did not think much of the night in the Kuri Desert. If you've never ridden a camel before and are keen to, then maybe, but otherwise skip it. The included dinner was tasty, but the accomodation standard was quite low. It's not an evening of dinner and dance, dinner is provided by the hotel, then you would be driven to a place where there is dancing. We had been to the excellent dance show in Udaipur, and we were tired of being asked to pay extra for things that supposedly were included, so we skipped it.
