What people love about Self-Guided Tours from Rome
- Rome, Florence, Venice, Milan: signature (4* hotels) low carbon tour by train
We repeatedly requested two twin beds as was traveling with a friend. We only received a twin bed once, in Rome. The rest of the time we had to sleep in the same bed which was awkward. Would be nice if there was a live number with customer service people available as we were planning the trip. We overall had a good time in Italy.
- Rome, Florence, Venice: essential (3* hotels) low carbon tour by train
Everything from TourRadar was nice with this trip, except the Venice portion/tour. No instructions were given as to how to get to the island portion. Our tour in Venice was the 2 island tour. However, there were no instructions on how to get there. There should have been transportation provided since the hotel was not within walking distance what so ever. We had to pay for taxi to get to Venice ($25 Euros), then 3 tickets for the water ferry at $20 Euros each. We ended up missing our tour due to no communication/direction.
- Rome, Florence, Venice: signature (4* hotels) low carbon tour by train
Everything went pretty smooth except for trying to find the meeting place for the Venice walking tour but we eventually figured it out. The hotels are at the lower end of the 4 star rating so we were a little disappointed. Overall it was a good trip with friends.
