What people love about Paris Tours
- 2 Day Guided Trip to Mont Saint-Michel, Loire Valley Chateaux from Paris (ML2)
Overall a very good tour. The first day, visiting Mont St Michel, was long and rushed. Very hectic meeting at the HQ to check-in and find our bus. Very large group, most of which were only doing a day trip, had less than two hours at the castle. Got handed off to a different guide (Pedro) at the castle, and he was great, but tour was slowed down by Pedro stating everything in two languages (English and Spanish). Had to rush down the mountain and back to buses, where we transferred to a different bus for remaining two days in Loire Valley. Group was much smaller, 15-20 from this point, with plenty of room on the bus. Meals and accommodations were very good.
- Paris and London
This was a great opener to vacationing with a tour group. It moved quickly and Emma was an excellent guide and host. The travelling schedule was reasonable and only minor adjustments needed to be made. The accommodations were average, but for the price, I was happy I wasn't staying in a hostel :) Europamundo was quick to help with any issues and was happy with how smoothly things went overall. Would definitely choose this company again for another tour if I do one.

Good to see all the sights!
What our customers ask about Paris Tours & Trips
How many days should I spend in Paris to see the main highlights?
A 4-5 day stay in Paris allows visitors to explore the city's key attractions at a comfortable pace. The first two days work well for visiting the iconic monuments like the Eiffel Tower Arc de Triomphe and Notre-Dame. Set aside a day for exploring the Louvre and Musée d'Orsay followed by a day discovering neighborhoods such as Montmartre and Le Marais. The final day is perfect for a trip to Versailles Palace. A TourRadar traveler noted: "The 5-day itinerary was perfect - enough time to see everything important while still having free time to explore." The Hotel André Latin in the 5th arrondissement serves as a practical base with good access to main sites.
What are the best areas to stay in Paris?
Paris neighborhoods each have distinct characters that suit different travel styles. The Marais blends boutique shopping with vibrant nightlife while Saint-Germain-des-Prés reflects traditional Paris with its historic cafés and art galleries. A TourRadar traveler shared: "Staying in the 9th arrondissement at Hotel Villathena was perfect - close to major sites but still feeling authentic and local." First-time visitors often prefer the Latin Quarter for its historic atmosphere and proximity to Notre-Dame. The Hotel Exquis in Le Marais puts guests right in the middle of authentic Parisian life.
What's the best time of year to visit Paris?
Spring (April-May) and fall (September-October) offer the most pleasant conditions for exploring Paris. Temperatures hover between 60-70°F (15-21°C) creating ideal conditions for walking tours and outdoor dining. A TourRadar traveler noted from their September visit: "The weather was perfect for walking and exploring with lovely evenings for Seine River cruises." Summer brings peak crowds and prices while winter transforms the city especially around Christmas when the Champs-Élysées lights up with decorations. The Hotel Tilsitt Etoile provides year-round comfort in the 17th arrondissement.
What are some unique food experiences to try in Paris?
Beyond standard tourist spots Paris offers authentic food experiences throughout its neighborhoods. L'As du Fallafel in Le Marais serves exceptional falafel while Rue Cler market presents fresh local produce and cheese selections. The historic Angelina tea room on Rue de Rivoli remains famous for pastries. A TourRadar traveler shared: "The local food tours in Saint-Germain-des-Prés were incredible teaching us about French cheese wine and pastries while sharing the neighborhood's history." The area around Hotel Exquis in the 11th arrondissement features excellent local bistros and wine bars.
What day trips are possible from Paris?
Several worthwhile destinations sit within easy reach of Paris. Versailles Palace takes just 45 minutes by train while Monet's gardens in Giverny attract art lovers. A TourRadar traveler reported: "Our day trip to Mont Saint-Michel was incredible - though it's a longer journey the striking abbey and tidal island were absolutely worth it." The Champagne region and Loire Valley castles also make popular excursions. The Hotel ibis Paris Gare du Nord serves as a convenient starting point for many organized tours.
What's the best way to skip the long lines at popular attractions?
Advance booking for skip-the-line access proves essential at major sites including the Eiffel Tower and Louvre. A TourRadar traveler confirmed: "Having skip-the-line access at Versailles saved us hours of waiting." Early morning or evening visits often mean shorter wait times. The Paris Museum Pass (USD 75 for 2 days) provides fast-track entry to more than 60 locations. Many hotels including the Mercure Paris Porte Versailles help guests secure skip-the-line tickets.
