Traveling down the Mekong River on this 2-day cruise was an unforgettable experience. The boat was clean and comfortable, with panoramic windows and open decks that offered incredible views of the river and surrounding mountains. Pakbeng was a peaceful and scenic spot to spend the night, and the lodge had everything we needed. What stood out most was the chance to visit a local village, where we learned about traditional weaving and daily life. The staff made sure we were well taken care of, serving delicious meals and sharing interesting stories. This cruise is perfect for anyone who wants to explore Laos at a slow, immersive pace.

If you’re considering the Mekong River Cruise, do it! The 3-day journey downstream from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh was not only relaxing but also incredibly insightful. We enjoyed walking around Koh Chen village to see local artisans at work, and the ox-cart ride in Kampong Tralach was such a charming, authentic experience. Every stop felt well thought out and never rushed. Mr. Minh from Viet Long Travel was outstanding — professional, warm, and very detail-oriented. He handled all logistics flawlessly, and his passion for sharing Cambodia’s culture really shone through. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
