What people love about Laos Highlands Tours
- Laos Tour of Highlights from Vientiane via Xieng Khouang, Plain of Jars to Luang Prabang
It was amassing to hear about the experience of our guide as a novice and be able to ask him questions about Buddhism and life in a monastery. The guided meditation was also a great experience! Our guide explained everything and we practiced twice. A great morning in Luang Prabang!
- Classic Luang Prabang in 4 Days
It was a fantastic trip! We fell in love with this country. Everything went smoothly, and we enjoyed every moment of our journey, especially our stay in Hoi An, it is such a romantic town! Thanks Linh for organizing everything for us.
- Northern Laos: Wildlife Conservation, Permaculture, and Meditation Practice with Monks
A great experience shared with a wonderful group of people. Perfect trip to get out of your comfort zone, see a whole new culture and travel mindfully. Volunteering was a huge confidence boost. I had never done any kind of teaching before the trip but the kids were so eager to learn that it didn't matter - it was such a buzz to see them improve and know you were giving them something that could really make a difference in their lives. Same with the construction work we did. We helped to build a school dormitory out of recycled plastic bottles giving more kids the opportunity to receive a life changing education (something we all take for granted). I will warn that the trip is hard work, long days, exhausting at times and it will completely change the way you view your life back home but I would recommend to anyone wanting to volunteer abroad to go for it and GIVE is a fab company to choose.
