Itinerary

Meteora Hiking Tour
Start hiking from Kastraki village early, moving through the dramatic rock formations that make Meteora so distinctive. The trail takes you past old monastery ruins and through forest sections, with stops at the Large Meteoron Metamorphosis monastery and the quieter Ypapantis monastery tucked away higher up. After roughly 2 hours of hiking, head back down to Kastraki village and spend time at the scenic viewpoints there. From these overlooks you can take in views of Kalambaka below, the Pinios valley stretching out, and the Pindos Massif in the distance. It's a solid morning of walking combined with some peaceful observation time at the end.
