Klaipėda
You'll arrive in Klaipėda and head to your hotel to check in. Settle in and take some time to rest after traveling. If you're hungry, dinner is available at the hotel, so you can grab a meal without having to venture out.

Palanga - Klaipėda
Meet with a Baltic Bike Travel representative at the hotel for an information session, then start cycling along the Lithuanian Seaside Cycle Route. You'll ride through Giruliai Forest and the Seaside Regional Park, stopping at Dutchman's Cap to see the 24-meter coastal cliff and checking out Plazė Lake. Later you'll reach Palanga to walk the pier and pedestrian street with cafes (some attractions are optional here). From there, head back to Klaipėda by bike using the same route or a slightly different one.

Klaipėda to Šilutė
A short minibus takes you inland to begin cycling on quiet country roads heading toward Šilutė. This area has one of Europe's largest stork populations, so you'll likely spot them. Stop in Švėkšna village to walk through an estate with a nice park and see the impressive neo-gothic Church of St. Jacob the Apostle. Continue pedaling to Šilutė and check into your hotel for the night.

Šilutė and Rusnė Island
Spend time walking around Šilutė town, then cycle to Rusnė Island, Lithuania's only island in the Nemunas River Delta Regional Park. In Rusnė village, you'll find a monument to Mahatma Gandhi and his friend Hermann Kallenbach. Ride around the island to see its wild nature, stop at birdwatching towers, and check out the 19th-century lighthouse in Uostadvaris Harbour. You can see across the river to the Kaliningrad region from here. Head back to the hotel for dinner if you'd like.

Šilutė to Nida
Cycle to Ventė Cape and visit the ornithology museum and one of Europe's earliest bird ringing stations. Climb the 19th-century lighthouse for panoramic views of the Curonian Lagoon and its sand dunes (about one million birds migrate through here each year). Take a boat across the Curonian Lagoon to reach Nida, then cycle to your hotel and settle in.

Nida
This day is free to explore Nida at your own pace. The former fishing village sits between the Baltic Sea and the Curonian Lagoon and is now the largest settlement in the Neringa region and one of Lithuania's best resorts. You can cycle or walk along the sand dunes, check out the Fisherman's House, see Thomas Mann's summer house, and stop by the Amber Gallery whenever you feel like it.

Nida to Klaipėda
Cycle on the asphalt bike path of the Seaside Cycle Route along the Curonian Spit back toward Klaipėda. Along the way, you can stop to hike the 'Dead' sand dunes, watch grey herons and cormorants, see the Hill of Witches with its wooden sculptures of Lithuanian legends, or take a swim in the Baltic Sea if you want. Near Klaipėda, take a local ferry from Smiltynė to reach the Old Town, then cycle to your hotel.
