Pros:
1. Our driver, Anuj, was absolutely incredible. He was with us for the entire tour. He was extremely helpful and responsive. He even stopped and got us some local sweets to try! We felt very safe with him.
2. The second hotel, Trident Agra, was great. It was very clean and the staff was extremely attentive.
3. We liked the tour guides! They were very clear and knowledgeable. We especially loved for tour guide for the Taj Mahal. He was very energetic and took a million photos.
4. We never got food poisoning from any of the food/ places we ate at!
Cons
1. The two included buffet lunches were a little disappointing as the food seemed it had been sitting out for a while (esp the first on). We would have preferred to pay for a restaurant.
2. We upgraded to the five star hotel package but it was not 5 star quality hotels (except for the Trident). I understand that five star hotels in India are not the same standard but the first hotel in Delhi, Surya and the third hotel in Jaipur, The Holiday Inn were noticeably dirty, and smelled extremely strong and mildew.
3. There were two stops that felt very scammy and we were overwhelmed by the store workers to buy something (we didn’t). One was for the marble work and then other was for rugs. I think the tour should remove these two stops. They are extremely predatory on tourists.
4. When my mom and I were having issues with our hotel, the guy who runs the tour agency was extremely hard to contact. I had to ask for his number for 3 days straight before he provided it. This is very strange as all the past tours we’ve done, the contact number is always provided immediately. Although he eventually changed our hotel he was so rude.

From being picked up at airport in Delhi perfect, Mr Narendra Singh waiting for me, perfect gentleman, loaned me money until I could get to ATM next day.
He was always early, impecably smartly dressed, nothing was a trouble looked after my possesions whilst on tours, all along gave me extra bits of info, I had changed my departure airport last minute & he was able to stay.As a single female travelling alone felt totally safe with him. Very competant driver given the crazy roads we encountered Delhi, Agra &Jaipur
The guides were great, however I would have liked guidance regards tiping

Karni was extremely responsive and flexible in communication when booking through Tour Radar. In India, our driver, Pradeep was very safe, respectful and timely. In Jaipur, we had Krishan as our tour guide - and that was pleasant. Our interstate flights were cancelled and Pradeep helped organise an alternative for us. We were very grateful. Would recommend this tour for any first time traveller to India.

Two women traveling together, we went to India and for our safety, we chose this tour, which turned out to be the best decision we could have made. We had wonderful experiences thanks to the guides, who shared so much information about the places we visited. The hotels provided all the comfort we needed and the driver… one word: outstanding! Punctual, flexible and extremely attentive to our needs. We truly loved this tour and highly recommend it to everyone!

I recently had the pleasure of exploring India with Swastik India Journeys, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. The tour was not only great but also affordable, offering excellent value for the price.
From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by my driver, Mayur, who proved to be an exceptional companion throughout my journey. He was a safe and helpful driver, always ensuring my safety and offering valuable suggestions and recommendations. His warm hospitality and politeness made me feel at ease, and I appreciated the little gestures, such as the welcome basket he had prepared for me.
The car was always clean, and he ensured that I had an ample supply of snacks and water throughout the day. His attentiveness and willingness to accommodate my needs were truly impressive.
The tour itself was well-organized, and I was impressed by the historical knowledge and expertise of my tour guides in each city. They were all passionate and knowledgeable, sharing fascinating stories and insights that brought India's rich history to life.
The hotel choices were generally good, with the exception of the guest house in Jaipur, which was a bit basic. However, this was a minor drawback, and I was able to overlook it given the overall excellence of the tour. If you wish to have a more 5 star experience, I am sure that can be arranged accordingly.
One suggestion I would make is that Swastik could provide clearer information about tipping tour guides and entrance fees for attractions, to help travelers prepare.
Overall, I had an amazing time exploring India, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a well-organized and memorable tour experience. Thank you, Mayur, for being an exceptional driver and guide – you added greatly to my Indian adventure!

The tour itself was good and our driver (Sandip) was amazing. He was helpful, polite, and kept the car clean and stocked with water. The guides were knowledgeable, though you’re expected to tip them after each tour, which can get expensive as we had four separate guides.
My main issue was with the company itself. Communication before the trip was very poor. I had to contact them myself to get essential details such as hotel names and the driver’s number. This is information they should have provided to me in good time. Despite paying £80 extra per person to upgrade to 4* hotels, the accommodation provided was far below standard.
The first hotel, Hotel Regent Grand in Delhi, was advertised as 4* but was nowhere near it. The rooms were old, dusty, and one room didn’t even have hot water. The building was also under renovation. After we complained, the company upgraded us to a genuine 5* hotel in Agra, which was excellent.
However, the problems resumed in Jaipur. The company promised us “a good 4-star hotel” but booked us into Cygnett Park BL, which was filthy, mouldy, and unsafe, more like a 2* property. After refusing to stay there, we were moved to V Sarovar Portico MI Road, a chain hotel that also failed to meet expectations. While the reception looked fine, the rooms were terrible. One room had a broken toilet seat and a non-working TV; the other had a faulty flush and insects in the shower. Despite our complaints, nothing was fixed. We stayed there for two nights as the company was unhelpful and dismissive, saying, “4-star standards in India may differ from international standards.” Clean, functional rooms are basic expectations anywhere.
For context, another member of my family has done the same route with a different company and were provided with genuine 5* hotels of excellent quality, so the issue clearly lies with this operator.
It seems this company promised 4* hotels, delivered poor 3* ones instead, and pocketed the difference. AVOID THIS TOUR COMPANY AND BOOK ELSEWHERE!

Thank you for sharing your feedback.
We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not fully meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify that your tour package included stays in carefully selected 4-star hotels in each city, as mentioned...
