Itinerary
- Day 1
Nairobi to Maasai Mara
A vehicle picks you up from your Nairobi hotel at 8:00 AM for the drive through the Great Rift Valley to Maasai Mara. The landscape shifts as you head toward the reserve, and after checking in, you'll have lunch before heading out on a game drive from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM to look for wildlife. The day ends with a buffet dinner under the stars at your camp.

Maasai Mara
You'll spend the full day on game drives throughout Maasai Mara searching for the Big Five and other wildlife. Around midday, lunch happens under a Croton tree while you watch animals from a distance. As you move through the park and cross near the Mara River, keep an eye out for cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and circling vultures. By evening you're back at camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru
After breakfast at 8:30 AM, you'll head to a traditional Maasai village to see how the community lives in their manyatta houses and experience their songs and dances. From there, you travel on to Lake Nakuru, arriving in the early evening. You can either relax at your accommodation or take a short walk before dinner at 7:00 PM.

Lake Nakuru to Aberdares National Park
Following an early breakfast and checkout before 8:00 AM, you head into Lake Nakuru National Park to see the pink flamingos and visit Baboon Cliff. Mid-morning brings a lunch stop, and then you continue on to Aberdares National Park for a private safari. You arrive near Nyeri in the late afternoon, giving time to settle in before dinner.

Aberdares National Park to Nairobi
After breakfast, a game drive through Aberdares National Park takes you through forest habitat where you look for elephants, black rhinos, and leopards alongside hyenas, baboons, and colobus monkeys. If you're lucky, you might spot the rare Giant Forest Hog or bongo, and the park's over 250 bird species make for good birdwatching too. Lunch happens in Nyeri town, then you drive back to Nairobi where your safari tour concludes.
