  1. Day 1

    Blois

You'll arrive in Blois and have your evening free to settle in. The pedestrian streets are nice for wandering around, and there's the 18th-century stone bridge if you want to take a walk. Saint Louis Cathedral is worth seeing if you're into that sort of thing. For dinner, there are local restaurants throughout town. If it's Wednesday and you're interested, check whether the Light and Sound show is running in English that night.

This was an excellent tour. The sights we saw and the villages we traveled through were amazing. The hotels were comfortable and the included meals delicious. We felt very comfortable travelling alone. The route was well planned and well communicated through the app. The Discover France team was very responsive, helping us to upgrade our bike choice a few days before the trip and helping us recover a bag that was overlooked during the luggage transfer. We highly recommend Discover France and the Provence Secrets - Pont du Gard route.

Some replacement hotels were not up to expectations and a refund should have been offered for the basic accommodation
