Itinerary
- Day 1
Paris to Amboise
You'll take the TGV from Paris to Saint Pierre des Corps, then grab a taxi to Amboise. After checking into your deluxe hotel near the castle, there's time to walk around the village and see what's there. Stop by Clos Lucé, which was Leonardo da Vinci's home, and check out the château itself. In the evening, you'll have an orientation walk followed by a gourmet dinner at your hotel.

Amboise
This morning you'll cycle on a loop through quiet countryside roads heading toward Château de Chenonceau, then circle back to Amboise. The château sits over the Cher River, and you'll see why it was home to Henri II, Catherine de Medici, and Diane de Poitiers at different times. The route takes you through nice rural scenery with minimal traffic.

Montlouis
You'll bike through vineyards on paved lanes in Montlouis, starting your day in the rolling agricultural landscape. Along the way, you'll visit Château Bourdaisière and the Donjon of Montbazon before arriving at your deluxe lodging for the night. The riding is relatively easy on good surfaces.

Azay-le-Rideau to Luynes
Today's ride takes you through rolling countryside toward Château d'Azay-le-Rideau, a classic Renaissance castle that sits on the Indre River. After exploring there, you'll cross the Loire River to visit Château de Langeais, then continue riding toward Luynes. You'll finish at Domaine de Beauvois for the night.

Chinon to Fontevraud
A taxi transfer gets you to Chinon, known for its historic castle with ties to Joan of Arc and medieval history. From there, you'll take a leisure bike ride to Abbaye de Fontevraud, a double monastery built back in 1110 that welcomes visitors. You'll end the day at your hotel nearby with gourmet dinner.
