Itinerary
- Day 1
Arusha National Park
After breakfast you'll drive out to Arusha National Park where an armed ranger leads you through a guided walking safari. The route takes you down through Meru Crater, and along the way you'll spot buffaloes, warthogs, and giraffes hanging around Ngerenanyuki River and Buffalo Glade. You'll break for lunch, then continue hiking to Momella-Tululusia Waterfall, which drops about 28 meters and often attracts elephants, buffaloes, Colobus monkeys, and other wildlife. By evening you're back at the campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

- Day 2
Arusha National Park
Breakfast comes first, then you'll head to Momella Lake for a canoeing safari in two-person canoes that are pretty stable on the water. From the canoe you'll see buffaloes, giraffes, bushbucks, waterbucks, and around 600 bird species, plus views of Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro in the distance. After that, a half-day game drive takes you through the park to look for Colobus monkeys, zebras, hippos, elephants, and whatever else is around. You'll get back to the campsite for dinner and an overnight.

Departure
You can start your hike through the Lake Duluti forest canopy anytime between 07:30 and 15:00, and it takes roughly 3 hours with experienced guides who'll help you identify birds and trees along the way. Once you're done hiking, head back to your lodge for lunch and some time to rest and relax. Then at 15:00 you'll get transferred to the airport for your flight home.
