Itinerary
- Day 1
Lusaka to Mongu
Start early from Lusaka and drive through the Central and Western Provinces, stopping along the way to stretch your legs. By midday you'll arrive in Mongu where you'll check into your lodge and have some refreshments. After settling in, take a short walk around town to get oriented, and if you're interested, browse the local market and handicraft stalls to pick up souvenirs. Your guide will give you a briefing about the Kuomboka Ceremony you'll see tomorrow so you understand what to expect. Dinner happens at the lodge that evening.

- Day 2
Mongu - Kuomboka Ceremony Experience
Grab breakfast early, then head to Lealui to watch the Kuomboka Traditional Ceremony unfold. You'll hear the Maoma Royal Drums beating as the royal paddlers arrive in their traditional clothing, and then the Nalikwanda Royal Barge departs across the flooded plains toward Limulunga with cultural dancing and singing happening throughout. Light refreshments are provided while you watch. After the ceremony winds down in the late afternoon, drive back to Mongu so you can rest and freshen up. Later there's a cultural reflection session where you and your guide talk through what you saw, followed by dinner.

Mongu to Lusaka
Have breakfast at the lodge, then depart Mongu at 05:00 am for the drive back to Lusaka. You'll arrive in the late afternoon, which marks the end of your tour.
