Tokyo
Your Tokyo adventure kicks off this evening with a welcome meeting at 5 pm. If you land early in the day, there's time to check out Hama Rikyu Garden, the Sumida Hokusai Museum, or take a walk through Ueno Park before meeting up. After the meeting wraps, you'll head to dinner with the rest of the group at a local restaurant.

Tokyo
Today you're diving into Harajuku, starting with Takeshita Street where kawaii culture was born. Next comes Meiji Shrine to get a feel for Japanese traditions, and then you'll jump into a hands-on taiko drumming class. By late afternoon, head over to Shibuya Crossing between two of the world's busiest train stations. The evening is yours to find dinner wherever sounds good.

- Day 3
Tokyo
This morning you're exploring Akihabara Electric Town, the heart of Japanese otaku culture for gaming, manga, and anime fans. There's a stop at a social enterprise robot café where you'll see staff remotely controlling the robots. After that, the rest of the day opens up for you to wander around on your own. Maybe head to Shinjuku or Asakusa if those appeal to you.

- Day 4
Oshino Hakkai
After breakfast, you're heading to Oshino Hakkai Village in the Fuji Five Lake region, famous for eight crystal-clear spring-fed ponds. You'll get a welcome ceremony and check into your minshuku, a traditional Japanese guesthouse. Later there's a walk to a nearby temple for meditation and calligraphy painting. Dinner involves learning to cook hoto noodles and onigiri rice balls yourself.

Oshino Hakkai to Kyoto
You'll eat breakfast at the minshuku, then take a bus and train heading to Kyoto. Weather permitting, Mt Fuji comes into view during the journey. Once you check into your hotel, the group walks through Gion, Kyoto's most famous geisha district, passing various temples and historic spots. Your evening is free to grab dinner at a local restaurant or catch a show if that interests you.

- Day 6
Kyoto
Fushimi Inari Shrine is on the agenda this morning, and you'll see why it's so recognizable with its classic red design. The afternoon gives you room to choose what happens next. Kids in the group might go for the International Manga Museum or try an authentic samurai experience where you learn about ninja and samurai history while wearing traditional garb and practicing some cool moves.

Later the group gathers for a traditional Osaka style dinner to celebrate.
