Itinerary
- Day 1
Dijon
You'll arrive in Dijon after taking the high-speed train from Paris, which takes about an hour and a half. Once there, you can spend the day walking through the historic center on cobbled streets. The Ducal Palace is worth seeing, and there's a Museum of Fine Arts if you're interested in art. Stop by the Church of Notre-Dame to see the Black Madonna statue, which is a notable piece in the church.

- Day 2
Vosne Romanée
After breakfast, you'll head to Gevrey-Chambertin and start walking through Burgundy vineyards on quiet country lanes. From there, you'll pass through charming towns like Chambolle-Musigny and Morey St Denis. You'll reach Chateau Clos de Vougeot, a 16th-century castle where wine tastings are available. The day finishes in Vosne Romanée, known for its Pinot Noir wines.

Fussey to Beaune
You'll have breakfast before transferring to Fussey to start hiking toward Beaune. The route takes you through oak forests and open countryside. Along the way, you'll come across Savigny-les-Beaune, a small village known for Crémant de Bourgogne. There's a Saint-Cassien church with a Romanesque bell tower and the Chandon de Briailles manor house to see before you arrive in Beaune, the heart of Burgundy's wine industry.

Beaune Wine Loop
This morning involves walking through Clos de Beaune Premier Cru vineyards overlooking the Saône plain, passing by winegrowers' cottages along the way. You'll visit Pommard, which produces deep red wines, then head to Volnay higher up on the slopes for finer red wines. After walking through boxwood and pine forests, you'll reach Mothélie with its Romanesque church and castle. The day ends in Meursault where Chateau de Meursault, dating from the 14th to 16th centuries, has wine cellars and tastings available.
