Itinerary
- Day 1
Seoul to Jeonju
You'll start near Gwanghwamun in Seoul and head southwest through Gongju and Buyeo, stopping at UNESCO sites like King Muryeong's tomb and Gongsanseong Fortress. The route takes you to Nakhwaam Cliff, which drops dramatically toward the water. From there you'll drive to Jeonju where the Hanok Village spreads across the area with about 700 traditional homes preserved from earlier centuries. Check into your hotel once you arrive in town.

Jeonju to Yeosu
After breakfast, you'll travel to Gwangju to visit the May 18th National Cemetery, a significant memorial for democracy activists. Later you'll head to Suncheon and spend time at the Bay Garden, which has different themed sections and walking trails throughout the grounds. By evening you'll reach the coastal city of Yeosu to see Admiral Yi Sun-sin's historic site, then settle into your hotel for the night.

Yeosu to Gyeongju
You'll start after breakfast heading to Jinju to walk through the historic fortress with its walls, gates, and pavilions. Next you'll drive to Busan and stop at Gimhae Domestic Airport to meet additional tour members. From there you'll explore Jagalchi Market, Korea's largest seafood market with vendors and stalls everywhere. You can walk around Haeundae Beach and Dongbaek Park before heading to Gyeongju, which has so many historical sites spread throughout that people call it the 'museum without walls.'

Gyeongju to Andong to Wonju
This morning starts at Seokguram Grotto, a UNESCO site where Buddhist art is carved into the mountainside. You'll then visit Bulguksa Temple, another UNESCO location with old structures and gardens throughout the grounds. The drive takes you to Andong Hahoe Folk Village, a UNESCO site with authentic Joseon-era buildings and narrow lanes lined with traditional Hanok houses. Later you'll head to Wonju, which sits near Chiaksan Mountain and the Seom River, and check into your hotel.

Wonju to Pyeongchang to Seoraksan National Park to Seoul
You'll head to Pyeongchang, which hosted the 2018 Winter Olympics, and check out the historic Olympic Ski Jumping Stadium. From there you travel to Seoraksan National Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve with dramatic mountain peaks, dense forests, and clear streams throughout. The scenery changes constantly as you move through the park. After taking in the views, you'll drive back to Seoul and get dropped at the original pickup point near Gwanghwamun.
