Itinerary
- Day 1
Picton to Endeavour Inlet
You'll start in Picton with a meeting with your local leader, then catch a ferry out to Meretoto, also called Ship Cove, where Captain James Cook established his base. The hike takes you through native forests thick with ferns, and you get views across Queen Charlotte Sound the whole way. You'll stop at Resolution Bay to eat the lunch you've brought along, then head to Endeavour Inlet where you can try kayaking or paddleboarding if you want, or just relax. After that it's back to your accommodation for the night.

The settlement there is small and quiet, and there's a local place to grab lunch if you're interested.
