  1. Day 1

    Corsica Zoo at Olmeta di Tuda

    You'll spend the day at Corsica Zoo checking out the island's wildlife and exotic animals in a family-friendly environment. Walk through the scenic nature trails where you can observe animals up close, and the kids have dedicated play areas to run around and burn off energy. Wear comfortable shoes since you'll be on your feet, and don't forget sunscreen and water for the day.

    Start in Bastia by taking the Matinum lift from the Old Port up to the Citadel for great views without having to hike. From there, relax in the peaceful hanging gardens of the Governors' Palace, then walk across the dramatic Aldilonda footbridge over the water to reach the ancient ramparts and explore the old fortifications.

    Bastia

    Spend your morning at Plage de l'Arinella, one of Bastia's best beaches for families with soft sand, shallow waters, and a playground. Kids can build sandcastles and swim safely in the clear water. After grabbing lunch, head to Luna Park Corsica Folies in the evening where you'll find thrilling rides, carnival games, and colorful lights lighting up the night.

In the afternoon, transition to Plage de Tombulu Biancu, a hidden beach that's great for swimming in shallow clear waters, building sandcastles, and searching for seashells along the shore.

The eco-museum there has information about local nature. After lunch, head to Rico et les Pirates, a pirate-themed indoor playground with slides, ball pits, and climbing structures for the kids.

    You'll drive through Cap Corse's northernmost peninsula along the D80 coastal road with spectacular views of the sea throughout. Visit Erbalunga, a fishing village with colorful houses and a Genoese tower, then continue to Centuri, a tiny colorful fishing port that has pirate history. End the day at Plage de Barcaggio's sandy beach, then dine at Paillote Chez Marlène.
