    Jeffrey

    Asked on August 25th, 2025

Is this tour suitable for kids especially the cooking classes and cultural experiences? We want something hands-on and fun, not just sightseeing or sitting in a bus all day. Also, would you be able to accommodate things like: - A vegetarian option for my husband? - Extra nights in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City if we want to extend a bit?

Yes, the tour is kid-friendly – cooking classes, boat rides, and cultural visits are fun and interactive for children aged 9 and 12. We can arrange vegetarian meals – just let us know if your husband is vegetarian (includes eggs/dairy) or vegan (no animal products) so we can customize meals and cooking classes accordingly. Extra nights in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City are totally possible – there will be an additional cost.

      TravelerWritten August 2025

My husband is vegan (no eggs, dairy, or animal products). We'd really appreciate if the meals and cooking classes could reflect that – thank you for being flexible!

    • Sondax TravelOperatorWritten August 2025

Hanoi is rich in cultural charm – ideal for exploring traditional craft villages, cultural shows, and art spaces. It's perfect if you're looking for a slower, more authentic vibe. Ho Chi Minh City, on the other hand, is vibrant and energetic – great for food tours, rooftop bars, and exciting nightlife. September–October is a lovely time in Hanoi – autumn weather, golden leaves, very photogenic! From December onward, Hanoi gets a bit chilly, but the Tet holiday atmosphere (late Jan–early Feb) is magical, with flowers, markets, and lots of local traditions.
