Itinerary
- Day 1
Colombo to Kandy
You'll arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport where your tour leader meets you for the drive to Pinnawala. At the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, you'll see rescued elephants up close and learn about the sanctuary's work. From there, head to Kandy and visit the Tooth Relic Temple, one of the most important Buddhist sites in Sri Lanka. Check in to your hotel in Kandy for the night.

- Day 2
Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, travel toward Nuwara Eliya with stops along the way. At Ramboda Falls, you'll see the misty spray and watch butterflies in their natural habitat. Continue to a tea plantation and factory where you can see how Ceylon Tea is produced and learn the process firsthand. Before reaching Nuwara Eliya, visit Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple and Seetha Amman Temple. Settle into your hotel there for the night.

Nuwara Eliya to Hikkaduwa
Starting after breakfast, drive toward Bentota and explore the Maduganga River Zone, a scenic wetland area where you'll spot various wildlife. You'll have free time in the evening to relax at the beach and walk along the shore. Later, continue to Hikkaduwa where you'll stay overnight.

Hikkaduwa to Colombo
After breakfast, travel to Colombo and take a city tour along the way. You'll see Galle Face Green, Viharamahadevi Park, the National Museum, Twin World Trade Center towers, Old Parliament Building, the Fort district, and Independence Square, plus several temples and religious sites. Spend time exploring shopping areas like Odel, House of Fashion, Beverly Street, and Majestic City. Check into your hotel once the day's sightseeing is done.

Colombo
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport with enough time to arrive at least 2 hours before your flight. If your plans involve staying longer, your tour can arrange drop-off at your hotel in Colombo or Negombo instead, depending on your onward travel.
