Cape Town
You'll be picked up on arrival and taken to your hotel. After settling in, the afternoon and evening are completely free. If you feel like heading out, the V&A Waterfront is close by and has plenty of restaurants and shops to check out.

Cape Town
A guided tour kicks off with a cable car ride up Table Mountain, where you'll walk the trails and take in views across the city and ocean. From there, you'll head through the Bo Kaap to see the colorful houses, then walk through Company Gardens and Greenmarket Square. The guide drives you past the Castle of Good Hope, City Hall, and down Adderley Street. Later, you're free to explore on your own for the rest of the day.

Cape Peninsula
Today's guided excursion covers the Cape Peninsula. You'll see the penguin colony at Boulders Beach, drive out to Cape of Good Hope at the southwestern tip of Africa, and travel along the False Bay Coastal Road where you might spot whales. The Twelve Apostles at Maidens Cove and Houts Bay fishing harbour are on the route, plus a stop at Simon's Town naval base. You'll get back to Cape Town by evening in time for dinner.

Cape Winelands
A guided tour takes you into the Cape Winelands, about 45 minutes away. You'll drive through Stellenbosch and Franschhoek seeing vineyards, mountains, and Dutch colonial buildings. Three wine tastings are included at different estates, and you can choose between chocolate or cheese pairings with one of them. You'll also stop at Paarl Rock and the Huguenot Monument before heading back to Cape Town for the night.

Cape Town
After several days of organized tours, today is yours to do whatever you like. You can stay at the hotel and relax, or try activities like sky diving, paragliding, quad biking, or a trip to Robben Island. Shark cage diving is another option if you're looking for something more adventurous.

Cape Town to Hoedspruit to Moditlo Private Game Reserve
You'll be driven to Cape Town Airport and fly north to Hoedspruit. A guide collects you and transfers you to Moditlo Private Game Reserve, a 36,000 plus acre property in the Greater Kruger ecosystem known for elephant herds. After lunch and time to freshen up, you'll head out for your first afternoon game drive with expert guides looking for the Big Five. Dinner is served at the lodge.

Moditlo Private Game Reserve
Two full safari days here at the reserve. Each morning starts early for game drives when nocturnal animals like leopards are still active before they settle in to rest. After returning for breakfast, you can relax by the pool or try optional activities such as hot air balloon rides or visits to wildlife rehabilitation centers. Afternoon game drives happen each day as well. All meals stay included at the lodge.

Moditlo Private Game Reserve to Hoedspruit to Johannesburg
A final game drive this morning gives you one more chance to spot wildlife. Across your safari stay, you'll have done six included game drives total, which provides solid opportunities to see rarer species like leopards and African Wild Dogs. Afterward, you're transferred to Hoedspruit Airport for your flight to Johannesburg. Once you arrive, you'll be picked up and taken to your hotel where the rest of the day is free.

Johannesburg
Your guided Johannesburg tour starts in the city center, then heads to Soweto to see sites connected to Nelson Mandela's life, including his former house at 8115 Vilakazi Street in Orlando West. You'll visit the Hector Pieterson Memorial honoring students who died during apartheid resistance. The day ends at the Apartheid Museum where films, photographs, and preserved artifacts tell the history of apartheid's rise and fall. Your final evening is free in Johannesburg.
