Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Puerto Iguazú

You'll arrive at Puerto Iguazú airport and get transferred to your hotel nestled in the subtropical Misiones jungle. After settling in, the rest of the day is yours to spend however you like. You can relax at the hotel, or if you're feeling energized, wander through the local craft markets at your own pace to get a feel for the area.

  2. Day 2

    Iguazú Falls (Argentine Side)

A half-day guided tour takes you to Iguazú Falls on the Argentine side within the national park. You'll walk the Upper and Lower Circuits, moving through the jungle to experience the falls from different angles. Then you'll take an ecological train to Devil's Throat, where a suspended walkway gets you right up close to the most powerful cascade. It's an intense way to see the sheer power of the water.

The experience is pretty different from yesterday—you get panoramic views of the entire waterfall system from scenic walkways and observation decks. This gives you that sweeping perspective you don't get from the up-close Argentine side, so you're really seeing two very different takes on the same natural wonder.

Whether you want to rest after travel or start poking around the city on your own, that's up to you. Salta has a nice charm to it, so there's plenty to see if you decide to get out and explore.

Purmamarca, Salinas Grandes & Los Colorados

Along the way, you'll stop at Cerro de los Siete Colores for views, then head up to Salinas Grandes at 4,150 meters where you can see blue volcanoes and wildlife like vicuñas and llamas roaming around. After about 45 minutes there, you'll return to Purmamarca for lunch and time to walk the artisan market and narrow streets. An unforgettable journey through South America An incredible 35-day experience through Peru, Bolivia, Argentina and Brazil. Everything was perfectly organized: punctual transfers, professional guides and spectacular excursions. We particularly enjoyed Machu Picchu, the Salar d'Uyuni, crossing the Andean lakes, the Perito Moreno glacier and Rio de Janeiro. Impeccable logistics in every country meant we could enjoy our trip without a care in the world. Highly recommended!
