Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival
You'll arrive at your hotel and get settled in. After checking in, there's time to drop your bags and get oriented before your walking tour kicks off later.
- Day 2
St. Wolfgang - St. Gilgen
A boat takes you to St. Wolfgang to start hiking along a scenic trail toward Falkenstein rock wall, where you get nice views of the lake below. The path continues along the water into St. Gilgen, Mozart's birthplace village, and then you head back by boat to wrap up the day.

Schwarzensee - Strobl - Bad Ischl
Starting from St. Wolfgang, you'll take the Saddle trail to lake Schwarzensee and stop at Lore's lake cabin for homemade snacks. From there, the route goes through Wirer gorge and around Bürglstein before reaching Strobl's lake promenade. A coach then takes you to Bad Ischl and the imperial summer residence there.

Bad Ischl
Bad Ischl is yours to explore at your own pace. You can visit Kaiservilla, the former summer residence of Emperor Franz Josef, or check out Café Zauner for their famous pastries and delicacies. If you prefer something quieter, the Salzkammergut thermal spa is also available for relaxing.

Kaltenbachau - Bad Goisern - Hallstatt
You'll walk along the promenade to Kaltenbachau, a historic spot tied to imperial leisure activities. The route then follows the brine pipeline trail into Bad Goisern, which sits at the gateway to UNESCO heritage Hallstatt. There's an optional higher mountain route if you want more challenge, featuring views of the 'Eternal Wall'.

Hallstatt
Continuing on the brine pipeline trail, you head toward Hallstatt's salt mountain and the Celtic-era salt mine. The day includes exploring the excavation sites and taking in views of the lake and Dachstein massif. After ascending Rudolf's tower, you'll catch a boat back to Bad Goisern.

Bad Ischl - Wolfgangsee
A train gets you to Bad Ischl, then you follow the romantic Sissi-Path to tiny lake Nussensee. Walking along the Ischl river, you'll pass through Blinklingmoos nature reserve before finishing alongside Wolfgangsee lake.
