You'll arrive in Indonesia today at any time that works for you. Once you get to your hotel, there's time to settle in and meet your CEO and the other travelers on the trip. It's a good chance to get oriented before things kick off tomorrow.

Ubud
Today is yours to explore Ubud at your own pace. This region is really the cultural heart of Bali, so there's a lot to choose from. You could visit the monkey forests, take a local cooking class, make spiritual offerings at temples, or walk through traditional Balinese villages. It all depends on what interests you most.

Bali to Makassar
You'll fly from Bali to Makassar today, which is the largest city in Sulawesi. After you arrive and check into your hotel, the rest of the afternoon is relaxed. It's a good day to decompress after traveling and get ready for exploring the region.

Landmarks/POIs Makassar - Day 4
Makassar to Sengkang via Maros
After breakfast, you'll head north from Makassar toward Maros, which is known for its distinctive karst formations rising from the landscape. A small boat takes you out to reach a local village where you'll learn about the rice paddies and farming methods the people use. Later, you'll drive to Sengkang for the evening.

Lake Tempe and Tana Toraja
Your morning starts with a boat tour across Lake Tempe, one of Indonesia's largest freshwater lakes. You'll see floating homes and meet the Bugis people who live there. From there, you travel to Tana Toraja, a region defined by ancestral spirits, indigenous culture, and dramatic hill landscapes. If a traditional funeral ceremony is happening during your visit, there may be a chance to join an authentic experience.

Landmarks/POIs Lake Tempe Tana Toraja - Day 6
Tana Toraja Cultural Sites
You'll drive through the countryside toward Lemo Village with terraced rice fields and traditional villages around you. The main focus is visiting burial sites carved into limestone cliffs, stopping at Suaya to see the sacred Baby Tree and royal graves, exploring the ancient burial site at Londa, and having a traditional Torajan lunch. The day finishes with a walk through Kete Kesu village to see the local architecture and artwork.

Landmarks/POIs Tana Toraja - Day 8
Tana Toraja to Makassar
You'll leave Tana Toraja early and be back in Makassar by late morning. After lunch, your CEO will lead a tour of the historic city. You'll check out Fort Rotterdam, a 17th century structure that was once a major trading hub in Southeast Asia, walk through Paotere Harbor to see the traditional wooden pinisi ships, visit the Masjid 99 Kubah mosque, and wrap up with a sunset at Losari beach.

Your tour ends today, and you can depart at any time. If you're heading home from Makassar, book a domestic flight back to Jakarta or Bali first, then allow about 4 hours to get to the international airport for your flight home.
