Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Arrival

    You'll arrive at the airport and get transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is open for you to settle in and relax.

  2. Day 2

    Barcelona

    After breakfast at the hotel, join a half-day guided tour through Barcelona. You'll walk through the Gothic Quarter's narrow streets and see the historic Cathedral Square, then ride the aerial tramway up to Montjuic for views over the city. The tour includes time to see Gaudí's Casa Batlló and Casa Milà along Passeig de Gràcia before returning to the city center. Your afternoon is free to explore on your own.

  3. Day 3

    Barcelona to San Sebastian

    Following breakfast, you'll travel by high-speed train from Barcelona's Sants station to Zaragoza, then continue to San Sebastian. Your guide will meet you along the way. You'll check in at your hotel in the evening after the journey.

  4. Day 4

    San Sebastian

    You'll take a panoramic tour of San Sebastian's streets and see the Bay of La Concha Beach. After that, you'll climb Mount Igueldo for views over the city and coastline. Your afternoon is yours to use as you like, or you can join an optional day trip to the French villages of Biarritz and San Juan de Luz.

    San Sebastian to Santander

    Breakfast comes first, then you'll head to Bilbao with free time to see the Guggenheim Museum and its striking modern architecture. From there, you'll continue to Castro Urdiales, a fishing village with time to explore the streets and waterfront. Later, you'll reach Santander and take a guided tour with a local expert to learn about this port city and its famous El Sardinero beaches.

    Santander to Oviedo

    After breakfast, you'll travel to Santillana del Mar, a historic town full of architectural details including the Collegiate Church of Santa Juliana. Next you'll stop in Covadonga with time to visit the Sanctuary and the sacred grotto. In the afternoon, you'll head to Oviedo and explore its Cathedral, which is a UNESCO World Heritage example of Asturian Gothic architecture.

    Oviedo to Santiago de Compostela

    You'll head towards Galicia after breakfast, stopping in Mondoñedo to see its impressive 12th-century cathedral and try the local Mondoñedo cake. Then there's time to explore Lugo and its famous Roman walls, a UNESCO World Heritage site. By evening, you'll arrive in Santiago de Compostela, the legendary end of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route.

    Following breakfast at the hotel, you'll take a city tour that includes Plaza del Obradoiro and Santiago Cathedral with entrance included. You'll explore this UNESCO World Heritage site and experience its historic university atmosphere. The rest of your day is free to walk the charming streets and discover more of this pilgrimage destination.

    After breakfast, you'll travel towards the Galician Rías Bajas with beautiful landscapes along the way. You'll visit La Toja island, famous for its spa and natural beauty, with free time to explore. Later, you'll continue through the Arosa estuary towards Portugal and arrive in Porto by evening.

  10. Day 10

    Porto

    You'll take a panoramic tour of Porto after breakfast, seeing the Cathedral, the Stock Exchange building, and the Church of Santa Clara. Then you'll board a cruise along the Douro River to see the city from the water. Next comes a visit to a Port Wine Cellar with wine tasting included so you can learn about Porto's famous fortified wines. Your evening is free to explore the city.

    The tour in general has been a very pleasant experience, the hotels were fabulous, the bus and its driver unbeatable, the guide very attentive all the time, to put some recommendation to improve the local guides, who were not up to par and the rates of Portugal that should have informed before, otherwise, what has been said, and most importantly, excellent hotels, excellent driver, and all the cities we have visited, we will repeat the experience.
