We only awarded 4 stars because the organization on site was not perfect. For example, we had to contact the local agency several times for the airport transfer as the pick-up time was not clear. Unfortunately, the tour operator did not allow us to visit Johannesburg due to the security situation. The rest of the trip went very well, the trip to Kruger National Park was very interesting, the stay in the lodge was very pleasant, getting up early for the excursions was tedious, but then it paid off. The excursions in Cape Town were just as interesting.Show more

Show moreTrip date: August 2024 - DHDebra· February 7th, 2018We had an amazing holiday we were always picked up on time and the staff were always helpful. Met some lovely travellers. The accommodation in Capetown was dreadful even though staff lovely. Our hotel was changed from the one we booked for and our guides agreed the Hotel cape Milner was the best and as I booked a long time ago I don’t understand why we were moved. We were only offered a small room no balcony overlooking a building site we then had to pay ourselves to upgrade. This hotel is catered for business clients the restaurant looks onto shipping crates we also realised after 3 days that we were only booked in for 4 nights not 5 but we rang rep who sorted it out .
