Itinerary
- Day 1
Budapest
Your driver meets you at Budapest airport and takes you to your hotel based on when you land. After you've checked in and settled, you'll head to the Danube River for a 1-hour sightseeing cruise. You'll get a seasonal cocktail or soft drink while floating past the city's main sights. Just note you'll need to get yourself to the cruise departure point.

Budapest
Start with breakfast, then hop onto a full-day hop-on, hop-off bus that lets you explore Budapest on your own schedule. The route takes you past the Chain Bridge, Andrassy Avenue, St. Stephen's Basilica, and other key spots around the city. The buses have heating in winter and air conditioning in summer, so you'll be comfortable no matter the season.

This morning you'll visit Buda Castle, which has stood for nearly 800 years and remains one of Budapest's most important sites. Wander the castle grounds and head into the Castle Museum where you can snap photos and take in the views. After lunch, a guide takes you through the Hungarian Parliament building, showing you the grand vaulted hall, the ornate central staircase, the magnificent session room, and the cupola room where the Hungarian Holy Crown and Crown Jewels are kept.

You'll spend the full day at Budapest's thermal baths, which make up Europe's largest thermal spring bath complex. Your all-day pass gets you into 3 outdoor pools and 15 indoor ones. Bring your swimwear, though you can also hire or buy it on site if needed. You'll arrange your own transport to the baths entrance.

A private cab picks you up from your hotel and drives you to Budapest airport for your departure. The pickup is scheduled for 3 hours before your flight takes off.
