  I’ve been looking forward to visiting Japan for 40 years, and UME Travel helped exceed my hopes for a memorable, exceptional experience. They were flexible and intuitive, and they catered our visit to each area accordingly to our desired experiences in each location. The accommodations were all excellent, and the staff with whom we interacted enhanced every aspect of our experience. I especially appreciated Yukiko in the Kyoto area —they were thoughtful, intuitive, and very welcoming and supportive. We also had excellent drivers who were arranged through UME Travel, especially Bruce in the Kyoto area. Of course, Phoebe was our phenomenal organizer, working out nearly every detail, so we could enjoy our time without worries. When we were in Japan, they addressed any questions that we had promptly and seemed determined to ensure that we had the best experience possible.

  We had such an amazing time on the 10 Days Japan Delight with Hiroshima tour! It was a perfect family trip — my husband, our son, and I all loved it. Our son especially enjoyed the ninja experience — he couldn’t stop talking about it! And of course, the Japanese food was incredible. Every meal was a treat, and our son loved trying different dishes. The whole trip was really well organized, and having a different guide for each city made it so much easier for us to enjoy every day. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to explore the sights at our own pace. All the guides were knowledgeable and fun, and the driver made everything even more convenient.

  The itinerary was super relaxed, no rush at all, and there was plenty of free time to explore on our own. The guides in each city were fantastic, and the hotels were really clean!

  Amber was amazing! She planned the perfect itinerary for us, taking us to so many incredible places we would've never found on our own! The guide and driver were super friendly, too. And as a sweet touch, when we were heading to the airport at the end of our trip, they gave us a beautiful gift for us as a couple!

  We just got back from our amazing Japan trip, and I can’t say enough good things about the entire experience! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized. Our guide was fantastic – her English was excellent, and she was always on time, making everything run smoothly. It made communication so easy, and we never felt lost or confused during our tours. A big shout-out to our driver too! His driving skills were top-notch – always smooth and safe, no matter the traffic. Plus, he was incredibly polite and professional, which made us feel really comfortable throughout the trip. We stayed in some amazing hotels, all located in the heart of each city. Whether we were in Tokyo, Kyoto, or Osaka, we were just steps away from everything – shopping, restaurants, and the must-see spots. It really made the trip even more enjoyable, as we could just walk out and be in the middle of all the excitement. Overall, the trip exceeded our expectations in every way. We felt so well taken care of, and I can’t wait for our next adventure with this team!

  10 day family trip We had an incredible 10 day family trip booked through UME with Amber. Amber helps us customize our itinerary with the attractions we were interested in the most. We had guides and drivers to help us get through the airports and train stations, even help us to the right platforms. It was such piece of mind for traveling with little ones in a place where we were unfamiliar with the language. In Tokyo we had Miro as a guide to help us around. He was so helpful with the background and knowledge In the Mt Fuji area David guided us around, he's such a warm personality that helped us adjust itinerary due to the rainy weather In Osaka Karin helped us on our food tour and in Nara Park. All the guides were so wonderful and we had the best time. They even helped me retrieve a jacket that accidentally fell at one of the hotels. Overall very happy with UME travel

  Our group of 12 friends just got back from an amazing 10-day trip to Japan, and it was honestly one of the best travel experiences we've had — all thanks to UME Travel and our fantastic coordinator, Amber! The itinerary was super well-planned with a perfect mix of must-see spots and free time to explore. Everything ran smoothly, but what really impressed us was how the team handled an unexpected situation. One of our friends wasn’t feeling well — probably just adjusting to the new environment — and our guide didn’t hesitate to take them to the hospital late at night. He stayed with them the whole time, translating and making sure they got proper care. Amber was also amazing — she stayed in constant contact with us, checking in and making sure we were okay. That extra care and attention made us feel so well looked after. The rest of the trip was absolutely fantastic — clean, comfortable hotels, easy transport, and unforgettable sights. Huge thanks to Amber and the UME Travel team for making this such a memorable and stress-free adventure. Highly recommend!

  We just wrapped up our honeymoon in Japan, and it was truly an unforgettable experience — all thanks to UME Travel and our amazing travel advisor, Phoebe! From the very beginning, she was incredibly thoughtful and detail-oriented. She even upgraded our hotel rooms to honeymoon suites, making everything feel extra romantic, and surprised us with a bottle of wine! 🍷💕 The itinerary was perfectly planned, with a great balance of iconic landmarks and hidden gems. With our wonderful guides, Phillip and Vincent, by our side, we were able to explore everything at our own pace — no rushing, no group tour pressure. It honestly felt like the entire trip was tailor-made just for us. Every hotel was clean, cozy, and in a super convenient location. Each day was filled with beautiful memories, especially in Hiroshima, which was both deeply moving and inspiring. If you're planning a honeymoon or romantic getaway, we can't recommend this tour enough. Huge thanks to Phoebe and the UME Travel team for making our honeymoon so magical and perfect!
