Itinerary
- Day 1
Vienna to Bratislava
You'll arrive in Vienna-Nussdorf and have time to settle in until the ship departs around 14:30. From there, the boat heads toward Slovakia, cruising past Donau-Auen National Park and the Hainburg Gate. If you're doing the active version, you'll pick up a rental bike and cycle about 67 km through Hainburg toward Bratislava. By evening, you're back on MS Primadonna heading to Budapest.

- Day 2
Budapest
This morning offers options. There's a city bus tour available that stops in Budapest's castle district and runs roughly 3 hours, or you can skip that and head straight to cycling. You might ride to car-free Margaret Island or through the city center. If you're doing the active cycling option, there's a route out to Szentendre, a smaller art town worth the ride. Later in the day you'll cycle through Budapest's lit-up streets heading toward Mohacs. Depending on which route you choose, you're looking at anywhere from 22 to 56 km of cycling.

Mohacs to Kalocsa
You have flexibility here too. Take an optional morning bus trip to Pecs if that interests you, which takes about 50 minutes with time to wander around, or cycle along the Danube path to Baja, a baroque town. For the active version, you can ride from Baja to Kalocsa, which sits in the Puszta region and has its own character. You're welcome to head back to the ship starting at 1 pm. The cycling distance varies between 36 to 55 km depending on which route appeals to you.

- Day 4
Kalocsa to Komarno
Today's the day for a longer ride. You'll cycle about 56 km, passing by the Roman fort of Kelemantia on your way to Komarno. This town happens to be where composer Franz Lehar was born, and there's an optional city tour if you want to learn more about it. After that exploration, you'll head back to the ship, which sets off again in the evening as the Danube journey continues.

Komarno to Spitz
In the morning, you can visit either the Egon Schiele Museum in Tulln or catch the State Garden Show if that's running. Then you'll hop on your bike for roughly 59 km along the Danube cycle path. The route takes you through Krems, which is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and ends in Spitz, a wine town in the Wachau region. This evening, you'll have your final night aboard MS Primadonna as the cruise wraps up.

- Day 6
Spitz to Passau
You'll arrive in Passau and disembark by 12:30 pm. Your return transfer back to Vienna is included with the package. After that, it's up to you whether you head home, explore more on your own, or look into any tour extensions that might be available.
